Any thoughts? which would you pick if prices were the same? or the new gt500 vs z06? but as there is almost no information on the 500 as of yet, 350 vs z06?

:lol::cheers:I would take the mustang.I would never buy from Garbage Motors.a guy already blew up a z06 motor.i think it had less than 700 miles on it,plus with other motors blowing in the stingray and overheating as well as the trans.they can keep that Gigantic Mistake.

If i was not looking for 2 more extra seats and a DD, the regular C7 or a lightly used C6 ZO6 would have been my choice. Comparing the new C7 ZO6 to a gt 350 is over kill. If they supercharge the GT or GT 350 and call it a GT 500 then we are comparing apples to apples. The new ZO6 is an amazing piece of machine. Hopefully a lighter track oriented GT 500 will be Fords answer to that. Cheers.

I dont think we can really compare the two because of the price point.

But I mean the C7 Z06 has some very impressive specs

plus fitment is the same as the previous generation GS, ZR1 & Z06

so you can do awesome beefy setups on it which I love !

It would be tough decision, is there a option to buy both?

If they sold the Z06 for $25k less than current asking I think you'd have to be a 100% Ford fan boy to pick the GT350 over it. The Corvette is lighter and has a LOT more power than the GT350 will have.

You should really compare the GT350 to the base Corvette. They are probably going to be close in price. The GT350 will be heavier but make a lot more power. The Corvette will be a better handling car just due to the chassis, but I would probably go with the GT350 mostly because I'm a Ford guy (and FPC gives some bragging rights over the crap pushrod motor they put in the base 'vette).

I was thinking about buying a Camaro and my GF kept telling me, "no way you aren't buying a Chivy!" I guess she knows me pretty well. I thought I would buy the Camaro, but after driving the 2015 Mustang I had to have the Ford.

this is sort of a silly question. and, i mean that respectfully. :)

If the Mustang GT500/350 costs the same as a Z06, they would be more comparable. as it stands, they are not the same price because they are not the same class of car.

if you could choose between a corolla and a testerosa, which would you pick if they both cost $12,000?

You have a point, I wish there were more information (if any) on the gt500, it should be close on the 350/c7 base scale, and then 500/z06 scale
