Not true. Dyno tuned at JDM and mine still surges. Been waiting for a few weeks for a call back to schedule a time to bring it back. it needs to get dialed in more.
I am waiting for a call back from them too on a related issue. It's been weeks.

Would be interesting to see if your issue is the same as mine. Yeah I mean I'm not expecting to get right in there for work but at least you'd think we could make an appointment. I guess following through isn't important.

Ford would absolutely not let a powerpack be installed on a car if it had any hint of drivability issues. They know the tuning for this platform better than anyone ever will.

Wondering if anyone has had my same issues as me, I have the 350 manifold and used to have the MMR adapter with the stock throttle body and the car drove fine but I recently put the 350 TB on to kinda complete the set up and the car just doesn't drive that well anymore. Anything above 4K Rpms the car runs amazing but it's between 1-4K Rpms that it drives terrible it's surging, bucking, hesitating and at times seems like it doesn't really wanna move. I was told that I would get a little bit of this with the 350TB which was okay because it's a weekend/race car but the thing is just horrible to drive about town way worse than I thought it would be. Just seeing if anyone else had this issuie it's Lund tuned as well.:frusty: Thanks guys!
Hi everybody, I have the same issue with mine, I search the forum for another post but found nothing ...
I wrote to the tuner explaining the problem "as it is known" but does anyone has solve this issue with a new tune ?

Thanks for your answers :)

Is your tuner local to you? Or are you going through Lund or AED?

The tuner is BAMA, they are pretty fast to answer, I'll update the post after the loading of the new version.

Gotcha, I'm not sure if Bama has worked out the kinks, I've read that Lund, AED, and JDM have all worked out the surging issues.

Hum that not sounds good for me ... I've got a SCT X4 flash from Bama, is it possible to use it with another tuner, or do you think it's locked only for Bama tunes ? I use this car daily and it's not fun at all like this :-(

thanks for your support guys !

It shouldn't be locked to BAMA I think the X4 is locked to ones car until it's unmarried. Anyways AED uses SCT X4 so you could reach out to them if you need another tune.

My son and I are getting ready to install 350 manifolds on our coyotes. We are trying to decide to do the 350 TB or with the stay stock TB. We are already Lund flex tuned. With the stock TB and 350 manifold were you happy with the low end response and torque? What is your experience with both manifolds other than surging? Thanks

Just stay with the stock TB. Its not worth the hassle. Some are happy with the way Lund, AED, etc have gotten the tune. I personally as well as some others may a bit more picky about the drivability of the GT350 TB. I also did not see any real gains from the GT350 TB. Others claim a few extra HP up top only. I will be switching back to the stock again this winter and looking to get a remote tune from Lund to maximize the tune. I get tired of all the datalogging and back and forth to get the tune just right. They do a great job with the initial tune but I want every last HP and TQ I can get from my setup. I have had tunes from Lund and Rev Auto for the GT350 TB and both have their quirks that I just can't live with permanently. Nothing major but I want stock drivability, and I just have not been able to get that with the GT350 TB. Just my experience and 2 cents.

If you go with a decent tuner, you shouldn't have any issues. I have a lund tune and mine is fine. AED, JDM and others have it figured out too. The surging issue has been figured out by everyone except BAMA it seems. Every bit of horse power adds up.

Going with the stock TB because of so many people having trouble with the 350 TB. From what I read the gains are negligible with the 350 TB. But the chance of problems is much greater. Glad BAMA got you lined out.
