So I stopped by today but he was not done.
He said he still needs to smooth it out.
It looks great so far.It is 5.5 inches in circumference compared to I think 4.5 when I measured it stock

.
He called later that it was done so I should be able to take some comparison pictures on monday when I pick it up.

I also received email form Redline. They don't do the flat bottom mod any more but can also thicken the wheel.
I asked for a quote but still waiting.I suspect their work will be better than "my guy" so I may send them the other GT350 wheel I ordered (still waiting kite every one else) If I ever get it.
lol
My guy is only asking $80.
So I picked up the wheel.
Not really impressed .:(
He was unable to get it smooth like the OEM
I thought it was worth a shot.lol
Since I was not that happy I got him to come down on the price of his tint(he did a better job on that)
In all with the tint was $220(said $80 for the wheel)
I have been in touch with Redline and they said they are going to be coming out with a wrap for the stock wheel in 2 weeks, so I may try them

They will wrap the GT350 wheel and make it thicker if I send it(to Europe) but can not alter the shape(make it flatter).Total cost would be about $350
Since it will be for R&D they would credit me $100 if I posted pictures.
entire process may take 6 weeks.

I may still mount the steering on the car just to see how it feels.
It is definitely "thicker" now but looks no way OEM. lol

I could send it be wrapped as I expect Redline will do better job.
If they do a decent job I may consider sending a Gt350 wheel but now it is getting expensive at $170(cost of wheel) plus at least $250(more if I am not the first one).....

Maybe I will just wait for my second GT350 wheel and call it a day:crazy:

I just called Levitown super center on my order placed last week and was told. They said they should be getting their shipment of GT350 wheels any day. He also told me they had 75 on order right now.
