GT350 Spied Testing

Meh...my B302 is a much better DD than the '11 GT3 I had. The GT3 was just way too track focused for street duty. Hope the GT350 isn't so much as the GT3. Sure do miss it though:

Believe me, I have my regrets. Great car to drive in the best conditions i.e. no traffic, smooth twisty road, no cops, no animals. Track days would have been fun but I'm a sport bike track day instructor so car days are a wee bit tame for me now....

The Porsche 911 flat 6 will never sound as good as a V8 @ the Daytona track. Back when the 930 turbo ran@ Daytona that car sounded amazing. The Shelby GT 350 @ the Ring sounds breathtaking . Best sounding V/8 on the planet period.
There used to be a race team in the 80's called Toad Hall guess what car they ran ?

Lower hood

The car looks so much better than the GT, with the lower hood and cowl and great bumper. Maybe this will be the look of the 2016 model, ventless, with narrower fenders.

Also a chance to clear-up the fitment issues with the '15s.

The hood over the grille is the same height and not that much higher around the cowl. Ford needed the little bit of height for the supercharger. Looks wise from the front not that much different. Both are stunning examples of a great design .

I don't think that's correct. I'm pretty sure they said that the grill and headlights are over an inch lower on the GT350 which would mean the front of the hood is as well.

The sound of that exhaust note taking off is Surreal! Different than any other V8 i have ever heard. Its unique actually ....reminds me of the throaty VR6 powerplant combined with a V8. Love it!

High Altitude Testing

I see test cars almost year round in my neck of the woods. All the mfgrs do high altitude and cold weather testing up here, high in the Rockies. I'm wondering when these pics were taken, as I haven't seen a Mustang up here lately.

BTW, first time posting. Been following M6G for quite a while. Dying for Ford to release the GT350 ordering guide!
