Damn looks like these won't fit on the base rear bumper!

Oooh, those side skirts <3
I just don't get why you had to trim them ! This is how they come on the GT350 from the factory.I got mine from Benny yesterday. Got around to installing them on my car with the premium bumper today. They are definitely not a bolt on affair. I ended up trimming about a 1.5" from the bottom so they would fit flush and not hang below the factory bumper trim piece. I used a pair of tin snips to trim it to my liking then took a file and rounded off the outer lower corner. The dimpled panel is really not noticeable unless you get right up on it.
Love the look and fit of these now. Ford just needs to make a molded front guard also.

Didn't realize you had the stock premium bumper. Do you have a few pics to share ?I got mine from Benny yesterday. Got around to installing them on my car with the premium bumper today. I can get some today and post tonight. It was getting dark yesterday as I was finishing installing them and my viking shocks.Didn't realize you had the stock premium bumper. Do you have a few pics to share ?![]()
Looks real good. So you basically just trimmed the bottom of the flaps. Here are the pics that I took this morning of the trimmed GT 350 splash guards with premium rear bumper.]
I placed them on the car and saw the area that matches the GT350 valence interfered with the premium bumper and trimmed that part off. Then held them up into position to trim the length to match the premium bumper trim and used a file to round the corner.Looks real good. So you basically just trimmed the bottom of the flaps.
Did the bumper mounting holes lined up with the flaps properly or did you have to do some modifications ?
