I don't have any insider info either. The B302 / Mach 1 stuff are rumors as well, as far as I know. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I just based new GT350 pricing off of previous GT350 pricing as a guesstimate.

I dug this up from the previous GT350. Based on this, I could see it being in the $60k range. I couldn't remember what they were selling for when they came out.

That's a different gt350. Back in the day Shelby used to basically pimp out a gt and call it the gt350. You could either buy it directly from them or give them your own gt (note the fact it cost $34k + the price of a gt). If anything it is much closer to the current gt500.

This gt350 is a replacement for the boss 302, a true track car for the masses. Thus it should be a slight bump above the msrp of the previous boss.

I'm aware of that. Again, I just wanted to compare Model to Model for lack of a true comparison. The current GT500 may certainly be a better pricing comparison, but they're still generally selling in the $60k range, unless you can find a dealer that's not charging (or trying to charge) ADM.

I'm not sure where Ford came out and said that the GT350 will be a replacement for the Boss 302. I'm happy to be proven wrong, however. I'm trying to stay away from rumors, especially after the Steeda weight thing.

The GT350 or whatever it's called will be the next generation of the SVT Mustang and will out perform the current GT500 in most performance statistics. SVT understands that they can not go backwards. Because of the the new GT350 is much more than a new Boss.

We don't know anything about the mysterious model still rocking camo. It might replace the Boss or it might replace the GT500.

It is being designed engineered and tested by SVT. You figure it out!:headbang:

Just how does anybody think a pair of turbos will fit under this hoodline? There wasn't any room before, and now with the corners cut back there is even less. And the left side still has the fusebox and ECC there. All of that would have to reengineered, and there is no place to put it. If it was going to be done, then the base S550 would have put those components elsewhere in the first place.
And don't say "Cobra Jet" because the two turbos there are mounted very far forward and low, where any type of crash standard would be impossible to meet. The CJ is not a production prototype at all.

To me, if it is a GT350, it will be a boss replacement for the track.

If they call it anything else I don't have a clue.

I will also mention I have a bit of a bias because I want a boss replacement every mans track car lol so if it's not that then maybe I'll save up a bit more and go a different direction...C63 amg or something since it'll be new too.

How do you know it's an SVT product and not a team Mustang product like the Boss 302? What is necessary for me to 'figure out'?

Factory turbos sit low next to the engine block and there is plenty of room. There was plenty or room in the S197 for twin turbos as well, not sure why you don't think so.

I thought this was common knowledge. The Next SVT Mustang(whatever they call it) will be out the summer(June/July) of 2015, proximately when the 2016 vehicles will be release.

I do not know the name or if they will call it a 15MY or 16MY. My guess is a 16MY. Most people here think I am wrong though.

You completely missed his point.

I would guess 46-50k, more in line with the Boss 302, assuming of course the GT350 is to be slotted between the GT and future GT500 replacement.

With the carbon brakes and multimatic shocks this car will be gt500 territory in price.
I'll say 58 to 70 depending on options.

Here's to hoping those were only on there for testing or are at least optional. There's no way I could afford the car if it came with CC brakes and I'm more interested in a Boss 302 replacement than something to go up against the Z/28 in magazine comparisons.

There's no such thing as common knowledge when it comes to undisclosed Mustang prototypes.
