I wish I knew guys. Unfortunately, I'm contractually bond and cannot release the info until Kooks does. This is very standard in these types of situations. Please be patient.

Lets make this a game while we wait on the official Press Release from Kooks. Who can guess the RWHP put to the ground by the Kooks exhaust only? Closest to the actual number without going over. The baseline dyno run was 466.x with 97 miles on the odometer. It currently has 155 miles. We will use one decimal point. Example 466.0

I'll get Kooks to hook the winner up with a T-Shirt.

Now lets get Kookin'!

I thought you said "closest to the actual number WITHOUT GOING OVER?"

In that case SVTDSM is disqualified and I am the rightful winner of today's internet cookie!

Now the big question is how much will kooks charge for the headers?

Also does anyone have experience on estimated cost to install headers through a shop?

You Sir are correct. I'll get both of you hooked up since I made the mistake. PM your info.

Congrats on the gains. Now the waiting starts for how much.

I would think that the headers plus aftermarket cat's without a tune wouldn't invalidate the warranty as long as you don't expect Ford to cover emissions equipment going bad.

Nah. It's cool. He can have the whole internet cookie I just wanted my "street cred." LOL

But we all seriously can't wait to see what it does with a tune if you plan on tuning it...

You are definitely a blessed man with the car.

Looking at the more detailed graph on that other forum, you can see the power peak has changed from the stock 7,500 to 7,000 now. I bet there's a lot to be had up top with a tune!

Maybe 520/420 with a good 93 octane tune. I can't see why not another 30hp/10ftlb with this combo and tuning. Just a few percent.

Pretty sure there is little value in the H-pipe on a flat plane crank.

Great gains for being stock and factory tuning. Can't wait to see what a full dyno tune can do

Very nice!
Can't wait to see what the tuning will do. That will really wake it up.

Stock doesn't sound like that because, as many people expected, the stock headers aren't optimized for proper exhaust flow. They're tuned to change the sound back to a more conventional cross plane crank V8 sound. Kooks set their system up to optimize power, so the engine sound you hear with their headers is the natural sound that this engine makes.
