Searched the threads and couldn't find anything related to my question . I am looking to put a GT350 intake on my 17GT. I am wondering if I order the perfomance pack 1 (air filter and code downloader) Will the performance pack 3 downloads work ? I have a good deal on the intake and was just wondering . I was hopping to see similar gains to the full perfomance 3 pack .

1a) You'll still have a GT throttle body.
1b) There is no download for PP3 if you buy PP1.
1c) The FRPPs are married to a VIN once installed.
2) I'm not sure the GT air box plays well with the GT350 intake. Generally it happens the other way around. FRPP1 is just a less restrictive air filter and a tiny tune to take advantage of the smaller pressure drop in the air filter box.

If you can find a suitable TB adapter to put the smaller TB onto the larger intake you may as well get a custom tune.

You can't mix and match performance packs from Ford. You either buy the whole thing or nothing.

However, there are other ways to piece together a pseudo PP3 setup. Along with the intake you seem to have, you can buy the throttle body, CAI and then find someone with HPTuners locally to flash you the PP3 tune that's readily available on their tune repository. You will have to spend $100 on credits though.

To answer your question further, no a PP3 tune will not work with the PP1 hardware. That tune has a certain MAF diameter in mind (eg. the GT350 CAI) and it will not work well with the stock GT CAI.
