We put a Spec 2+ clutch in it months ago after burning the stock one up.

We got the car running, but weren't able to get the tune dialed in remotely because of the monsoon that swept through.

I'll be working with Ken next week to get it tuned in, and hope to have some dyno results within a few weeks.
i just want to hear it already...please? lol :hail:

Hey Kelly,

You think you will need any higher spring rate timing chain tensoners (maybe from GT350 or Boss302) or any type of re-engineered chain guides or should the stock ones work for your desired RPM goals?

Sorry if you touched on this earlier must have missed it.

Sorry guys! Been extremely busy!

I have spent the past few days sending logs and receiving tune updates.

We are just getting the car dialed in as good as we can so it can be raced for now. Then, when Ken gets his dyno in I will be taking the car down to him to get some results after he tweaks it for max power.

Thus far, everything is going smoothly. Car pulls like an animal up top, wowza!

As for lope. Not really any lope at all.

Logs thus far are looking excellent.

I am seeing power being made to 8K RPM - looks like, it will make peak around that RPM.

This is great news, as that is the RPM I was targeting. Woohoo!

Can NOT wait to see the graph of that animal on the dyno! I would love to be able to feel the difference in person vs stock cams and intake!

I was just out ripping it through the gears.

OHHHH MAI!

I mean, don't get me wrong. I did go from a completely stock set-up, with a stock tune.....to a tuned combo mentioned in this thread. 100rwhp gain or so I will assume, probably 150whp up top!

We haven't even begun to play with cam timing. That will happen once I take it down to Ken. I am more anxious than anyone!

In all honesty, I dont really care if it doesnt make a ton of peak power....I just want a really good curve from 6K - 8500 ish...with peak around 8K. If it makes 478rwhp....but has a great curve up top, that will be fine. ;)

Come on you know if you hit 499 you would be a little pissed, 478 not as bad lol.

Yeah......499 would chap my ass. I would be airing the rear tires up to like 88psi - haha

8k rpm.. did you guys do any other internals such as OPG or timing sprockets?
