Hello all,
Just ran my car after doing the GT350 IM and PMAS intake. Except we left the defroster on which runs the a/c compressor. I know it's not much but I'm sure it could easily rob 5-10hp on the top end if engaged.
Does anyone know if this car shuts off accessories at WOT? I know my old BMW 330 would temporarily kill the compressor and lower alternator load at WOT to conserve power, it also used a variable speed electric water pump.
I'll share the numbers anyways, keep in mind this shop's dyno reads high but this is for before/after purposes only.
Before (off road headers, 3" exhaust, E85) pulled to 6800
440hp @6300
408tq @5200
After (addition of OPG, crank sprocket, GT350 IM and PMAS with stock TB) pulled to 8k. Also went from stock PP 19"s to RTR tech 7 20's. Can't feel a difference so I'm going with the assumption the weight savings balance out the bigger wheels.
506hp @7300
409tq @5050 with a/c compressor potentially running
