Hello all,
Just ran my car after doing the GT350 IM and PMAS intake. Except we left the defroster on which runs the a/c compressor. I know it's not much but I'm sure it could easily rob 5-10hp on the top end if engaged.

Does anyone know if this car shuts off accessories at WOT? I know my old BMW 330 would temporarily kill the compressor and lower alternator load at WOT to conserve power, it also used a variable speed electric water pump.

I'll share the numbers anyways, keep in mind this shop's dyno reads high but this is for before/after purposes only.

Before (off road headers, 3" exhaust, E85) pulled to 6800

440hp @6300
408tq @5200

After (addition of OPG, crank sprocket, GT350 IM and PMAS with stock TB) pulled to 8k. Also went from stock PP 19"s to RTR tech 7 20's. Can't feel a difference so I'm going with the assumption the weight savings balance out the bigger wheels.

506hp @7300
409tq @5050 with a/c compressor potentially running

AC cuts when you go wide open. Post dyno sheets please. 66whp gain is huge even if the dyno reads high. GT350 intake mani and Pmas intake doing work.

My friend dynoed his car with the A/C on by accident. We realized it after a few pulls. He lost 14hp. I was surprised it was that much.

We have 3 dyno pulls to prove it. Let me see if I can find them.

Huge gains! How does it feel to drive on the road? I might just get the 350 IM & TB to go with my PMAS. :)

Thats my next mod although probably stock throttle body for now because I have yet to see anyone show gains over the stock throttle body. In fact I've seen massive torque losses in the midrange from a member on here. Lund Tune GT350 TB vs stock.

That dyno is from months ago when Lund were openly saying they had not dialled in the 350 TB and as such were recommending the stock TB until they had got a 350 TB to dial in and test in house.

They have now done their in house testing and when I spoke with them they said the 350TB gains some extra power past 7000rpm, they did not mention about it causing any losses.

My A/C definitely turns off at WOT... You can actually tell that the air starts to warm back up by the end of a long run.

Be that as it may I've not seen anyone post anything showing gains with the GT350 throttle body vs the stock one. I would rather save that $200 and my time spent adjusting about 1000 individual cells in my torque tables to make it drive smoothly.

Lund told me last week that the GT350 TB was too much of an issue due to electronics.
They recommended the ford perf 90mm unit if a larger TB is desired. Also stated to avoid the BBK unit

BBK on my 13 had no issues they use the factory electronics so no retuning needed and it drives like stock just better throttle response. Honestly though gains over the stock throttle body on the coyote are minute from what I've seen over the years. Especially for a mod that costs up to $600.

Should have looked at the accufab unit. It was 85mm but still outflowed ford racings own 90mm back on the s197. Im not sure if they have finished it for the s550 yet. If i was upgrading, thats the unit id use.
