Here, asking people who run their GT350s hard on and off the track: what coolant do they use? Quick summary: Was tracking my GT350 on a triple-digit day over the summer, nothing out of the ordinary outside of my temps, oil temps reaching into the 300s. After a while, I noticed a crack like a frag grenade went off inside my coolant reservoir, and after some spirited driving, it would start to leak just enough to be noticeable, but not everywhere in the engine bay. Long story short, I'm getting a Fat House Fab coolant reservoir. I was looking for coolants specifically for higher performance and high temps when I found VP Racing Fuels 2085 Cool Down Coolant Performance Improver, but I can't find anything about the recommended coolant in my supplements or online beyond some old forum talking about switching from orange to yellow. What coolants do you use, and would this VP Racing one be good? Btw, I'm still running a Gen 1 motor, if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance. I don't check here frequently.
