The red edging on the stripe and red badging.... it is a R. You want that look either re-stripe a GT350 or track down a R.

The Avalanche R with white stripes does not have red accent stripes.

These Cars (Esp the black one) look so amazing that the last few pics are making me wish for further attention to detail.

the car is being shown off, shiny and in full glory... and who forgot to armor-all the sidewalls? Really takes away from the full effect. That... and it appears Ford didn't feel like coating the entire wheel. You can see where the black coat stops. LAZY.

Sorry if this seems anal retentive, but I design and present for a living and this kind of thing just bothers me at this level.

Other than that, I am very excited for this car.

I fully agree and was thinking the same thing. The attention to detail is paramount, and Ford slipped on the issues you pointed out. Love the R, but the details were missed....

I saw the pictures posted. The accents on the R-cars are not overly obvious, and all it takes are a few less-than-optimal angles to make it appear that the R-cars do not have the red stripe accents.

The Avalanche and white/red accent-stripe car in question just appears to not have the accents, but I assure you it does.

Yea, by why would Ford tease us and show us an color combo we can't have? I know they did that with Liquid Blue, but that was a theme for the auto show and applied to many Ford vehicles. Maybe the overcast weather is playing tricks with the red accents, but on the other hand it's not playing tricks with the red cobra badge on the front grill....the mystery deepens. Haha

So, can we extrapolate that the R's black stripes will be matte based on the facts that we've seen nonR GT350s with gloss black stripes, we see this R with matte stripes and according to the draft order guide, you can't get a black nonR GT350 with black stripes?
