Does the GT Performance pack wheels fit on an Performance Package Ecoboost. I'm concerned about the back space ie having the wheels stick out too far. I know the GT Performance package wheels are staggered not sure why they didn't offer the GT wheel setup on the Ecoboost.

I have a GT PP and I think the ecoboost PP wheels look great. Why would you change them?

I'll need a second set of wheels for Winter driving and these Performance package wheels seem to come up for sale at reasonable prices. I also like the looks of the GT performance pack wheels better then the Ecoboost wheels.

Good question. Will they fit on a V6?

The answer to all of the above is yes. They'll fit the EB and v6 and look exactly as they do on the PP gt

The wheel offset/backspacing requirements are identical for ALL 2015 Mustangs, V6, EB, EB w/PP, GT, GT w/PP.

It is only the GT PP that requires a wheel that properly clears the 6-piston calipers included with the 15" Brembo brakes.

The reason they did not include staggered tires on the 2014 EB PP package is that is was not needed from the power output levels from the EB engine. Larger rear tires are not used to improve handling, as square setups generally handle better, but to put the available power to the ground.

Thanks for the information that's what I thought but it's nice to have confirmation.

You can probably find lighter cheaper wheels IMO. People are asking a lot for some stock wheels that are super heavy for the PP wheels.

Are the GT PP wheels particularly heavy, compared to something comparable from a aftermarket manufacturer?

How about the eB PP wheels?

The PP wheels are 32-33 lbs a piece. That's not exactly light. You can pick up some flow formed/rotary forged wheels for close to what I've seen people asking for the stock wheels. If you just want some winter wheels, it's probably not a HUGE deal but even the cast wheels in a 19" are going to be cheaper and the same weight. I don't get why people are paying what they are for some heavy ass stock wheels.

I don't know too much about wheels but they have some very nice, light weight looking wheels at the local Goodyear for way less than $1000/set. Some nice ones are way less than $800/set. Of course, you still have to buy the tires. Some of the stock wheels for sale include the tires.

Maybe I'll forget about picking up a set of PP take-offs unless the price coes down. I like the eB PP take-offs best..
