Don't do it!!! I live in Central NJ too and I don't have a front plate. I didn't have one on my last Mustang either. The inspection stations don't care in NJ anymore either. It looks so much better without it. ;-)

there is definitely a delay and you have to give it gas, but it works great. I really like it when I'm facing down hill in a parking spot. prevents you from rolling into the curb prior to backing up. You don't have be as quick on the pedals or use the parking break.

I hit a deer in 2009 with my 2006 mustang and I needed a new front bumper, bumper cover, head lights, hood, both fenders, a radiator, and obviously paint and the whole job was 7k. Based on the little damage you have, I cannot see it costing more than 2k, even with some hidden damage.

OP, make sure you can lock the passenger door by just touching the handle with your finger. That feature should work on both doors as well.
