Just gloating…..these puppies showed up from Steeda today and i must say, they are STOUT Just a happiness post lol. Been piling up some spring project parts, very happy with how these look and feel

i think i like them way too much in raw form…..i wonder if clear powdercoat is a thing I am a bit concerned about the good old white aluminum fluff crap that happens

They Def have clear powdercoat. That would be slick.

Hell yea they have clear powder…we used to do that to intakes all the time in the DSM world, bake em, bead blast and clear coat em!

Love it! I may actually look into this, as i, like many i’m sure, absolutely DESPISE when Aluminum starts oxidizing. Thanks for the confirmation!

I painted mine but on all other aluminum under the hood I used Everbright coatings on them. Stops oxidation. Has worked well over the last 5 years.

Do you have a picture of yours by chance? I think Visual appeal would be my leaning point. Can’t sseem to locate what it looks like installed 🫠

Take a look at the companies that make the power coating materials. They have lots of clear. Some have a tint, some have sparkle, some have different levels of shine. You can totally find what you want. I shoot aluminum chassis rifles and all have powder coatings. Ive had a few redone when I wanted a color change. So many options. You can also find an aluminum cerracoat color if you think that is better. I’v had that in the past on some gun parts.
