Thats for the full exhaust kit. If just the valence is wanted then part # is: KR3Z-17F828-AA with MSRP at ~$420. But that doesn't include the hardware, the support brackets, rock guards, rear exhaust hangers, or the underbody shield w/necessary hardware
I’m sure all that adds up fairly quickly. I’d rather just get the FP kit and have the nicer muffler/tips that will fill out the valence better than the GT tips will anyway. But to each their own

You cannot buy just the muffler section from Ford at all. It's the entire catback without actuators, hangers etc. and i'll let this do the talking for value of the FP kit....

I get that. Could probably scuff them up and paint them with high heat paint. Should be fairly easy to do

Oh yea I totally understand that. The only color on my car is tail lights, exhaust tips and the necessary license plate. I even unplugged the orange parking lights because they didn’t fit the all black everything 😂

Yeah I saw the catback, crazy expensive. I assume you could just swap the actuators from the GT mufflers but yeah the hangers are different. Not to mention you need to buy the valence anyways because I don’t think the M1 tips fit the GT valence.

ive been considering it, but I just assume it’ll look very DIY with me doing it.

The FP M1 valence kit is a pretty good price. The M1 mufflers from Ford are a pretty hefty price tag. There’s a thread in here somewhere about it but the FP kit is half the cost if you were to buy the Ford branded parts (and FP is the same fit & finish as OEM, just at a lower price tag)
Throw in a few Ford pass points and the sale they’re running now, and I just couldn’t resist, lol!

Maybe see if a local powder coating shop would do it? No idea what it would cost and you’d probably want to remove your actuators so they don’t get damaged

The actuators did look the exact same. I just priced up the parts for the valence and under body shield. It came out to about $1200 pre-tax.

Add in $465 for each actuator and then the cost of the exhaust itself. Hard to say no to the FP kit 😂
