GRABBER LIME S550 MUSTANG thread

My car was filthy, and life has been crazy, so I paid a professional to wash her haha. He washed the car inside and out, cleaned the engine bay, and buffed and polished the entire car. Was worth every penny, she looks better than the day I bought her. No more dirty, grime, and most importantly no more swirls. Will be looking to get some sunny photos today but here are some with the cloudy weather.

sorry i do not like this colour at all. see one today. looks washed out and boring.
need for green is wow. now that's a green.

this colour only looks semi ok on a sunny day or under bright lights.
overcast days it looks dull. same with the oranges ford make. dont like any of them. all look dull.

It’s a very ‘marmite’ colour and if we all liked the same, then ford wouldn’t even bother giving us the choice

Yeah, thats kinda how lighting works. Lots of light means brighter colors, overcast and no sun or lighting means dull colors. Not just this green or orange, any color. There are plenty of photos in this thread that show how bright GL can be. There are also plenty that show its flatter side, so people know what they're getting if they consider this color.
Every color has lighting where it looks optimal, and lighting where it looks less flattering. Pick any paint color and I can find 2 photos that would make you question whether they are the same color. You're welcome to your opinion, the color isn't your cup of tea which is fine, it just begs the question why you keep coming back to this thread if you hate the color lol.

Starting to get the look I was aiming for - black hood vents added (to an otherwise very dusty car) :

Installed the GT500 diffuser, after having it painted gloss black. Wish i'd done it sooner, love the look. Here's a little before and after. All thats left is to paint the sides gloss black and no more plastic appearance

And yes, I know my drivers side mufflers need adjusted another day.

Funnily enough the supermarket delivery guy said exactly that last week - I don't like green, but on that it's really cool ... lol

Totally agree with you. I get compliments on this color all the time. I have only seen one other Mustang in this color in my area and it was a convertible.
