OP car looks awesome! Mine goes in next week for tint all the way around. Prob go 25% or so. Don't like when it's so dark hard to see out at night. KS legal limit is 35%...

Thanks! Here you go. Looks very dark on the side. But also due to overcast day and shooting the pic at an angle. Notice you can still see inside (dashboard).

Tint looks better on the OW.

NY has furthered it's war on window tint recently. Proposed metering at annual inspection. Anything darker than 70% will fail. So basically no tint. Sucks for them, I just did 50 on sides and rear, and 80 on the windshield. Good luck metering a windshield! Especially because 80 is almost clear, so nobody would notice it.

Thank you for the shots. Looks great.

I didn't want too dark or too light. 35% seems to be the ideal tint for me. On white it looks darker to me anyway. But as you said, you can easily still see inside.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, its off to the tint shop I go........:clap2:

No worries... Idea is to start a conversation and have it go!

Here is how mine looks after the tint had time to cure.

Its TOO dark at night to see out the rear windows.. and the side windows... but it looks bad ass.

Luckily CA has some strict laws on tint, but they dont enforce them in Silicon Valley.

I hear in Texas they let you tint anything, any shade.

I thought the same thing. But after awhile I got adjusted to the tinted windows driving at night. Give it some time to get used to driving at night.

Sorry for jacking your thread OP..:headbonk:

But sometimes ya just gotta jump in. Maybe a PM would have been a better idea on my part.

For what its worth, love your car. Great color. That color really pops in the sun and the tint brings it out more...

Did you get the roof vinyl wrapped?

I've already ordered the vinyl, and will be doing the same soon.

Yup! I did it because my friend recommended. My first mod on my stang back in February.

I didn't install it myself if that's what your planning to do. I had it done in Milpitas. The shop is called "GoWraps". It's been around awhile in fact it was located previously in Campbell. Brione (pronounced Bri-an) is an awesome guy. Hooked it up while I waited for it. If your gonna do the installation yourself the tricky part is the antenna on the roof.

It really finishes off the stang with the tint done up.

Could you take a few pics from up close of the side gutter and the corners of the roof at the front and back. I want to get an idea of how far into the gutter your guy put the vinyl. I've got my own ideas but want to compare to the pros.
