Re Go-Pro - If you want a less pricey alternative - lookup the Xiaomi YI 4K camera.
Theres actually V2 out now as well, I picked mine up last with a underwater case and some extras for around $220 last year.

Same sensor, same lenses, half the price. Id say its probably 95% of the Gopro...

Yeah there are much cheaper dash cam options out there. I use the GoPro because I like to use it for other things, not solely for dash cam duties.

You were worried about how the Pilot Sports would handle in the rain? I drove my R several times in heavy rain with the SportCup2's with no issues, so the base tires would give me no worries at all.

I got caught in one of these a few days ago. I wish I had my GT350 back as that at least had decent tires in the rain. I was driving my HC with street legal DR's on it. That was NOT fun. There was a zero % chance of rain that day.

Weather person seems to be the only job where you can be wrong 50% of the time and still have a job :(

Love weather mode. Use it a lot especially when there's heavy rain during the summer in NYC. When just on the street I just want to relax and it is very easy to overdo the throttle when not paying attention ...

As I'm gaining confidence with the car I like to use track mode in the wet stuff. allows some wheel spin since TC is off but maintains AdvanceTrack for control. Lots of fun! With that being said I would not go AdvanceTrack off!

I wouldn't say I was worried, but more so didn't know what to expect. I've been in lighter rain before and I'll just leave it in Sport Mode. With the heavy downpour I felt as though it was time to use Weather Mode.
