i have a 2017 GT, what would be a good all year around tire? im in cali and i just need to worry about the rain. i'm still on stock tires.
looking for tires that will last longer and somewhat able to drive in the rain. are there any with an aggressive tire tread?

Summer tires are generally great for the rain. I got about 30k miles out of Michelin PSS, and am running Continental Extreme Contact Sports currently. I'm really happy with them other than when sitting for a few days (I only go in to the office 2-3 days a week) they seem to flat spot for about 3-4 miles which is rather annoying. Otherwise they're equal to the PSS in all ways from what i'm feeling. I'd suggest either those Contis or the Michelin PS4 for great summer tire options.

Agreed, however you live in LA so you won't need all seasons. Stick with a summer tire. The Michelin pilot 4s will last 30k miles if rotated or 15 k if staggered. I plan on getting those once my pirellies go bald.

General Gmax AS05's IMHO, are better than the OEM's.

I've got about 12K miles on the BFG Comp 2 A/S (275/40/19) that I installed along with the 19x10 SVE S350 wheels. I love them. They actually surprised me how quiet they are, they handle great, they are really good in the rain and they are really wearing well. I'll be buying another set when these wear out.

The MP4S is hands down the best tire I've ever driven in the rain. Pretty good tire for the twisties on a dry warm day too.

I've driven my MPSS down into the 30's with no problems also, they're more flexible with temp than most people think. They won't grip as well, but they dont slip and slide around either.

I've been running Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ for the past few months. Even though they are an all-season tire they outperform my stock Pirelli summer tires in all conditions, including the warm weather. I'm very happy with them.

Agreed! The A/S 3+ really is an amazing tire. I sold the PP rims and Pilot Sport 4S rubber with less than 1,000 miles on the car. The 4S is phenomenal tire, but man are they scary at temps close to freezing. I didn't want to run a dedicated winter set, and the A/S 3+ were the best option.
