Hey there
So I'm looking to get a Paxton after taking a ride in my friends 2014 Paxton car. I'm interested in feedback from those with one to see if there is any drawback to doing so. I've already got a gt350 intake and headers at the moment as well.
Thanks for any info.

Drawbacks that pushed me to the ProCharger was the need to cut up some things to make the system fit. If you don't mind doing that, Paxton should be a winner.

Wow ok I didn't realize the 2015 still needed things to be cut. The procharger is 100% bolt on huh?

The shroud is the only thing I remember cutting, not that of a deal lol it's a very small piece take 10 minutes. Don't remember of anything else needing to be cut

you have to trim a small piece of the fan up top for the inlet tube, there is no cutting to the bumper or anything

very easy install

let me know if you have any questions

I saw an install video that had the underbelly pan cut as well as a radiator hose that had to be cut along with the fan. I agree its not that big of a deal.

Yup, you just have to cut the driver side boss off for the coolant tank on the shroud, the inlet tube covers it, no big deal. they also say to cut clearance for the inlet and outlet side of the Inter cooler in the radiator duct, I just removed the plastic completely.

1. They don't give you enough 4" clamps, they give you 3-3/4 which is a PITA to get on the couplers new.
2. The vacuum line stuff is dookie, just get some hoses and t fittings and elbows of different sizes and do it yourself, if you follow the instructions you'll have leaks.
3. Screw clearance on the hood, I had no intent on cutting the insulation, I just loosened the latch bolts and moved it up about 1/8" and it closes perfect.

With some common sense its a quality install, that can be reverted back to stock fairly easy with the only thing noticeable being the shroud boss. The Instructions are the problem and they do suck in some portions. It took me about 14 hours to do and im anal to make sure everything has clerence and looks like someone who cares did it. If I had to do it again it would take me less time because I'd know to have multiple different clamps and vacuum lines/fittings.

Now that's what I'm looking for good first hand info. Thanks for the specifics as I am a dumb perfectionist I'll have to do the same.

Ya just read through the instructions, and get a good idea of the general flow, mock up your own hoses, because some they say to cut and re use don't necessarily need to be cut if you route them right.

The good thing is that they give you a vacuum diagram, I skipped all the instructions for everything on the driver side valve cover and the post TB stuff, I did follow the instructions for the passenger side valve cover, even under that Chinese finger trap looking loom stuff it looks like hog shit to me, but I have a vacuum pump catch can setup im custom fabing for crankcase evacuation so its temporary anyway.

Get one of those tools for tightening the radiator hose clamps, there sized correctly and you can pinch them with channel locks but they make a special tool that crimps them.

If something doesn't fit without clearance in regards to piping, you have the wrong piece or you need to loosen the clamps and adjust, its tight, but everything fits properly.

The Paxton Beefcake Special is the best bang for the buck FI option IMO. It's by no means a slouch either, Terry will hook you up!

Waiting for a sale at this point. I know holidays are pretty good and maybe Black Friday.
