Finish Line Performance ordered the gear. It's a FRPP, I believe they had a run from US Gear. Also the initial thoughts are the shifts are shorted and direct.

We finished up the complete install. Everything went smoothly. All the wiring was well explained in the kit. The only thing that was missing was driveshaft bolts, but Finish Line Performance had an extra box of them. I was able to drive the car home and start putting a few miles on it for break in. Initial impressions are the throws are shorter and much more precise shifting. The cons are this tranny seems to be a little more noisier that the MT82. I think when we install the 4.09 gears this well help as most of the noise comes from just "lugging" around when it has slack.

Sorry for the sideways Pics, I don't know why this happens sometimes.....

I know a lot of you have followed this build and I thought I would update it.

I switched over to the darkside and went to boost for more power. The result was pretty stout!

Stock motor with the Comp Stage 3 NA cams (they worked awesome!) and E 85.

Holy sh*t, 900RWHP at 17psi? WOAH, that's some serious power you are crankin' out. Not saying this is going to happen (and I hope it doesn't), didn't a forum member run his at 18lbs of boost on stock internals and it went boom?

LOL Almost 400hp gain from going FI.

It would have been 400 if it were not for belt slip. I made 903 on the pull before without icing the tank. Also on the 905 dyno, if you switch the reading to MPH is shows max hp at 910 because the delay and momentum of the pull!

Here is 903 made with 17.38lbs and 905 made with 16.56. We had less boost but averaged about 20 more hp until the slip at top. lol:headbang:

Yes, think it was jhatley7 , but that was on an extended 1/2 mile pull I believe... and I don't know about the intercooler setup.

Here is a picture of cooler in the trunk that runs to the Whipple then the oversized heat exchanger. I will be moving the wire to under the hose to hide it for a neater job soon.
