Progress was made tonight. I didn't even worry about cooling the car, drove it straight off the street and hot lapped it. 12.07, 11.74 and then a 11.57@121.

I guess things don't happen the first time out, but hopefully I continue to get faster.

1.64 on a 19" DR at a rough track was the best part!
What was your DA? People are going that fast (trap) or much faster with zero headwork. That's disappointing in my opinion.

What was your DA? People are going that fast (trap) or much faster with zero headwork. That's disappointing in my opinion.
1600. I'm a little disappointed to be honest. The FLP told me I need a 4.10 to get the most out of hp. Car is heavy (4000lbs) but I expected a increase last night. I have no headwork btw.

I need to get to different track is bottom line. That track is rough.

1600. I'm a little disappointed to be honest. The FLP told me I need a 4.10 to get the most out of hp. Car is heavy (4000lbs) but I expected a increase last night. I have no headwork btw.

Cams is Headwork. That's not stock anymore. I expected better than a 129 trap to be honest. I guess RBS550 set my expectation of what I thought cams would do high especially since his was through the 6r80. I was at least thinking 133s. I hope you don't find my post as talking trash. I was generally shocked

I have talked debated this, what I have been told is we added all hp in upper range, but have not done anything to keep car in that band, such as gears. My car at same track same day shows it makes the power, but I do want 124-125 mph.

If 124-125 is your goal you must have a slow track. People are doing that with the basic full bolt on. Auto or stick. At least you've seen a gain of track. Means it's working at least. :thumbsup:

Its not that slow lol Most of those cars have done their best times at beginning or end of the year.... This is summer.... 2cd time out... and I believe the fastest car on that list took A LOT of practice and work to get fast...;)

I just post results..... and I still have a ways to go... maybe I need a driver mod lol

Been told it could be slipping, but I smell more brakes than clutch.....

It sounds like slipping a bit in your YT clips. I am a total drag novice but couldn't bring myself to let it slip a lot to get the really good 60' when I went last month. DD problems.

There is NO Way to get 129 with hp to weight ratio. RBS550 is 400 lbs lighter. It took him a long time to get there and when he did that it was a -1300 DA.
Right now on a prepped NHRA track his car is still flying, but only with 125 trap speeds.

I don't take it as trash talk, I just think you didn't have all facts and have unrealistic expectations. I knew from day one with HP calculators my car maximum is 124-125 unless I get some really good air and lose weight.

Where is he only trapping 125 in positive DA? I haven't seen slips like that from him since he was first getting it ironed out. Hp calculators aren't all that accurate in my experience. Pretty sure hes trapped 125s+ in positive DA also. Our fast list is not the only place where coyotes are found.

He is 3640 with driver. We have exchanged PM's. Check out his post under dragstrip and launch tech from Last NMRA race last weekend.

Lol you are sorely mistaken. What do you think a base s550 weighs with full drag pack, k member with manual steering rack, racing seats etc....
