WRT the Mustang:

I, for one, dig the paint. I even dig the hood.

The fake scoops on the windows and quarters, however, have to go.

WRT the vets:

Rock the fuck on, guys.

The M60 is 23lbs of whoop-ass but jumping one out of a C-130 ranks with some of my least favorite things. I guess its better than a DMJP...
+1 for jumping the M60. :headbang:
I only carried it or a year but that was plenty. However, the 16 felt like a pea shooter after...

anyway, I think that car is awesome

Thanks to all my fellow vets for your sacrifice.

I love this thread!~

My deepest thanks for those that served, and my condolences on your loss's.

The Mustang has grown on me quite a bit. (Though I too don't really appreciate the hood/scoops).

Well i must be old too. Army Vet from early 70's with M60A1 Tanks. Those things would shake the ground when they fired and at night the flame out of the tube was awesome. In the winter on frozen ground, the whole tank would slide back 4-5 feet every time they fired the 105's. It was quite the weapon.

Yeah, I was always pissing off my LT. ;)

We had some patrols where we weren't in full uniform. We had patrols that followed the buses that shuttled our personnel. Got to ride around in civilian cars. A/C and stereos where nice compared to the Hummer interiors.

Thanks to all my brothers in arms. True patriots, every one of you. I'm happy we're all home and can share in things like car community.

My best friend was my squad machine gunner. I miss the sound of a long burst from a SAW. KIA in Fallujah. I would do anything to talk to him one more time and every March 22nd is a hard day for me too bro. Here's a pic with his slow ass behind me.

Flew Medevac missions-in Iraq- it was hard tearing into those uniforms- but saving a true Heroes life- the best F'ing feeling ever- and for those that lost their lives- past and present- We Salute You-

Now to that car- F*ck.....

Dust off was always fast and professional. My friend was expeditited and under the knife with amazing speed. Sometimes it's not enough, but never, ever from a lack of effort. Thank you for your service.

Weird how this thread evolved, but badass none the less. It's cool to see y'alls pics and stories too.
