Well, till you live with one, you're opinion is noted.
The fun part is when you tell those that do, they are wrong.
But then I look at your location, and understand why you are like that, most in D.C. are.
If you note where I live then you understand I know plenty of people who own EVs. If you own an EV why don't you explain your issues instead of going on some immature rant? :like:

Can you tell me where I've told those that do own an EV "they are wrong". I'll wait for that one. I don't care what you or anyone else does. Only people like you run around wanting to ban cars, books, bump stocks, etc.

You know most people in DC? That is amazing. You sound God like. :cwl:

Hello; not only a clear example of your bias but also another attempt to bait us into banned discussion. Too bad we cannot answer your charges without risk of being kicked off the thread or site.

Nerve? It is bewilderment. My comments on the truth about your little crusade against EVs is what hit a nerve. Did I shatter your safe space? Yup!

How many people in this thread own an EV? Very few. Heck, the main protagonist has never owned a 6g Mustang. I have an issue with range on EVs so I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything.

Your comments make no sense. Only in your world would you think you otherwise.

I guess you did get me to comment, so that is a win on your part. Somehow. :cwl:

The funny thing is that comment is in support of my main question: "Can you tell me where I've told those that do own an EV "they are wrong"? I'll wait for that one. I don't care what you or anyone else does."

So I'm still waiting for RamPage to tell me where I've said "they are wrong". Can you?

You can't.

The funny thing is that comment is in support of my main question: "Can you tell me where I've told those that do own an EV "they are wrong"? I'll wait for that one. I don't care what you or anyone else does."

So I'm still waiting for RamPage to tell me where I've said "they are wrong". Can you?

You can't.
Hello; On the one hand I and others have been posting documented and evidence based issues about BEV's and the "green energy" agenda. From environmental issues with mining for rare minerals, to current real time massive emissions during construction of things such as wind turbines, to the unimaginable costs anticipated for these drastic changes, to real use of BEV's problems such as the fires of BEV's which are so very difficult to extinguish. We have posted on even more potentially negative aspects of forcing the entire world to demolish a working energy & transport system and replacing such with unproven systems loaded with many "someday it will be fixed" problems.

On the other hand, you resort to insults, name calling and pointless rants. "So I'm still waiting for RamPage to tell me where I've said "they are wrong". Can you?".

Additionally I and others get the implied content of this statement from you. "

Can you tell me where I've told those that do own an EV "they are wrong". I'll wait for that one. I don't care what you or anyone else does. Only people like you run around wanting to ban cars, books, bump stocks, etc.
People like me do not necessarily want to ban BEV's. I think any new transportation tech ought to have a chance to compete for a place. I can see a limited advantage of BEV's in specific places. The problem is not the BEV itself, more the mandates and deadlines against ICE sales which are the problems. Without these acts of force, the BEV would have remained a very expensive niche product.

Some history from my point of view. Back in the early 2000's it was believed crude oil was to start a steep decline in production. Had that happened the hybrids and later the BEV would have had a useful role because some sort of alternative would have been needed. However oil production did not decline and ways to recover a lot more were developed. Enough to keep the ICE transport system viable for decades to come.

Now I do not need to be convinced there is a crisis or few around the world. I cabbaged onto one back in the 1970's. I also was an advocate hoping to avoid future problems. The crisis I was concerned about was overpopulation. No need for me to go into all that here again. So, when this "green energy" and Anti fossil fuels agenda gained prominence I was already in a position to consider the implications as i have been keeping up with the "science" for decades. I became convinced that "green energy" and the BEV in their current known forms of existence will not work. However, both can be useful in some applications and in some limited ways.

Fossil fuels and ICE cannot be tossed out so quickly as is desired by some such as you. There are several reasons as to why. Most have been clearly outlined in posts by "people like me". Your rants will not make these problems go away.

Goodbye; the fact is I'm not giving up my ICE. This week I wrote how I'm keeping my ICE for at least 4 years. And even made an argument against EVs for my personal use, for now. This is why your and RamPage's comments make zero sense.

Well, we all know why... that covid booster you took on Jan 6th. Go ahead and cherry pick that comment and show me your fake rage!!!!!! :cwl:

I know. A bit difficult for you to follow conversations. ☹

No worries. Your meme came right on time.

Think we are missing one more commenter. Then we will be done with this round. :cwl:

Interesting how I can stay gone for weeks, drop one article and all of you get spun up. All without adding any commentary to the article myself. Never fails.

All in the Science.

Hello; This is both a taunt and political content. I will not bite.
This week I wrote how I'm keeping my ICE for at least 4 years. And even made an argument against EVs for my personal use, for now. This is why your and RamPage's comments make zero sense.
Hello; Thing is most everyone can make a decent case for not having an EV. Such is one of the problems with the coming mandates and no ICE sales restrictions. It is an obvious thing because BEV's are not ready for prime time. Nor is the electric grid.
The rage is not fake and is not about the BEV vehicles themselves. EV sales are being mandated for while at the same time ICE new sales are to be banned. There are at least two levels of reasons to dislike these mandates and restrictions.

One is the early suspicion that "green energy" and BEV's will not do the job and this mandated experiment will likely finish bankrupting countries and perhaps the auto industry is being shown to be a possibility. The ploy of using warming & climate change as an excuse is also being shown to be exchanging one set of environmental problems for a different sort. Perhaps an even worse environmental outcome with the "green energy" and BEV's as they currently exist.

Another is a resistance to being forced into something. Not the same level of thing but I do not much care for SUV's. I would resent being forced to buy one. Clearly not as bad a deal as the BEV mandates, more the principal is similar.

Hello; A decent read. Most stuff already known and posted about. Knew of the unfair plan to raise MPG corporate averages in an underhanded way to spoil ICE by an alphabet agency.
One item caught my attention. Insurance rates for EV's. Story claims as much as 28% increase. I intend to find out more about this. Seems every few weeks some new negative aspect of BEV's or the "green energy" shows up.

Goodbye; eh, this is the same drivel you always mention. Nothing new. EV mandates have been around since the early 1990s. We all know why you and the Fake Rage Crew are up in arms at this particular moment. Can't talk about that.

Anyway, you can purchase an ICE car/truck if you want. You will be able to get an ICE car/truck now and on into the foreseeable future. Do they have issues? Sure. Will they be fixed? Sure.

You are going around in circles again.

You are the only one talking about banning things. The BEV mandates are essentially banning ICE cars and trucks. I don't care what anyone drives reads or shoots.

The range issues I have will be fixed WAY before 2035. Even if you don't have a charge station at home, the self-driving will be at a point where the car can drive itself to the charger, charge, and then drive home.

On top of that we will have level 5 driving. That will be a godsend for older Americans who can still function but don't/can't drive. That will allow them to be independent for some extra years.

You can have your doom, gloom and fake rage.

Hopefully we will stop the constant attack of our air by your friends at OPEC:

Hopefully we will stop the constant attack of the planet:
Except the BEV is as bad or worse for the planet. From all the reading I have done on the "green energy" I believe the EV's, windmills and solar farms are worse than fossil fuels.
