So, the abbreviated response to my question is “Yes”.
Thank you. You could’ve saved yourself a lot of words.
I was addressing your claim that the post was political. It was not; I was not blaming one party/president administration over the other. I also clearly stated both parties are guilty of creating massive U.S. debt (yes this includes the Trump administration). You on the other hand tried to make the post political by implying one party or presidential administration was at fault. As I have told you before before, you lack critical thinking skills; the only one who is worse is your little buddy JTM (Earnest T. Bass).

You are so right about Burley. He lacks common sense and it shows in everything he says. He just can’t think for himself. The govment has to tell him everything.

Hello; First let me say I decided to post this link and some of the comments to illustrate yet another example of how extreme this carbon is evil idealism can be. I also considered poking fun at a few of the statements but will only mock the bit about pets forming their own country. I cannot decide if this is a true believer's credo or some form of satire.

How to Reduce Your Dog's Carbon Pawprint (msn.com)

One study examined the impact pets have on the planet — and the news was not good. Our pets eat a lot, and feeding them results in about 64 million tons of carbon dioxide in the U.S. annually. That’s the environmental equivalent of 13.6 million cars polluting the air.

If pets formed their own country (hey, it could happen), it would be fifth in line for global meat consumption.

Switching to plant-based dog food can reduce your dog’s carbon footprint while providing your pup with essential nutrients. Look for dog food and treats made with sustainable ingredients such as chickpeas, lentils, and quinoa. Insect-based dog foods are another excellent alternative gaining popularity in the market. Some dogs may need time to adjust to the new diet, so gradually introduce plant-based food into their meals.

the average pup produces 274 pounds of poop annually! And as a dog owner, it’s your “doody” to pick it up! Even if the poop is in your own backyard, it’s still in your best interest to scoop and bag it ASAP. Why? Because dog waste can contain pathogens, parasites, and bacteria that can lead to human illness.

So you’re going to pick up that poop every time, right? Great! Just don’t use a plastic bag.

Choose clean, natural grooming products free of parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances. Look for products that use organic ingredients and biodegradable packaging.

From toys to collars, there are many eco-friendly dog products available. These products are made from sustainable materials and are designed to minimize environmental impact. Look for toys made from recycled materials. Choose collars made from hemp or bamboo.

Adopting a dog from a shelter or rescue is another way to reduce your dog’s carbon footprint. Adopting a pet reduces the demand for breeding and helps reduce the number of animals in shelters.

Goodbye; You think so? I don't agree.

I read your other thread. This is the truck I recommend. You didn't have kids to "save the planet", you are often concerned with the environment, how people are treated, and race relations. This fits you nicely! You and the other "Bros" will look good in this one!

You never fail to perform! I'll be back in a couple of days and pull your string! :cwl:

Think of some new stuff to say your old comments are getting stale!
Hello; First you must not understand how pay worked in school systems. First year you start at a base pay. Then each year you get a small increase in pay. I suppose the plan could have changed since i left but that was the way it worked during my time. So it does not matter if you agree or not. A first year teacher was paid less than a 27 years teacher.

As for my comments getting stale, such is the way with true statements versus stuff that is spun or twisted to suit an agenda or make a temporary point. I must figure you are trying to put me down for my decision to be childless, my efforts to have a smaller impact and so on since such is what you most commonly resort to lately. You want to put me and a few others into what you see as a clown car.

You were being critical of POLICY. “Muh gubment, what a waste”.
By definition that IS a political post.

If you’d just posted the raw numbers without an opinion, that wouldn’t represent criticism, and therefore wouldn’t be an OPINION on policy, which wouldn’t constitute a political post….

You then accuse me of lacking critical thinking skills. The irony is surreal.

The fact that you couldn’t understand that the post was political, makes you even more dense than I previously thought, which is an achievement, because that observation was never flattering.

You are an absolute fool. The most simplistic facts you can‘t or want understand. The post was not political. You made it that way.…..I guess it’s that pea brain you have.

I saw this meme today and it reminded me of you.
COMMON SENSE IS LIKE DEODORANT. THE PEOPLE WHO NEED IT THE MOST, NEVER USE IT.

This was the totality of my post with the link to the article:

”’Muh gubment‘ at work. 🤡 What a waste.”

My post title was a simple satirical title of what the article stated. The article spoke of billion of dollars of waste by fraud. The monies came from government sanctioned programs. There was nothing political; it was a statement of fact, based on the article:

The Associated Press reported June 13 that scammers and swindlers potentially swiped about $280 billion in COVID-19 emergency aid; an additional $123 billion was wasted or misspent.”

You then wrongly assumed that I was attacking one party over the other by stating:

“Are you suggesting that Trump’s administration made a bad decision?

‘The three initiatives were begun during the Trump administration and inherited by President Joe Biden. Combined, the loss estimated by AP represents 10% of the $4.2 trillion the U.S. government has so far disbursed in COVID relief aid.’”

I suggested nothing about Trump or Biden. You injected politics into a statement that was non-political. If my title is deemed by you to be political, then under your arbitrary standard a substantial amount of your posts/comments have been political. You should be the last to cry politics my weak minded friend. See how that works. I say again, you lack critical thinking skills, so either man up and own it or go in the corner and sulk like a little girl, as you always do.

LOL.
I didn’t ASSUME anything. I asked a question, as denoted by the question mark at the end of the sentence.

I was seeking clarity.
God, and you think I’m stupid. You can’t even properly distinguish a statement from a question. Again, the irony of it.

This is why we need to properly educate people.

Why would you ask the question about Trump, when I never even mentioned him. You were trying to bait me into defending his spending on Covid, which I don’t. I don’t buy this argument that you were only try to get clarification on my position on Trumps Covid spending. Why get clarification on something that was not even the topic of conversation. You’re full of bs. This is a habit of yours when you have been embarrassed and proven wrong. Either that your you have an epic meltdown. Remember your “f**k, f**k meltdown; that was classic 6g entertainment. Also if you have ever witnessed a trial you will see lawyers making statements though questions; it’s called cross examination. You are right this is why we need properly educated people. Educate yourself fool.

Lets stop the what is or is not political. The bickering back and forth would get me to lock this thread on another forum. Actually the admin of that forum would expect me to lock it, then he would review the status.

So don't take the bait

Let's let it live.

Thanks

I was asking a question. You seemed to hold an opinion, I wanted to understand your position. It’s pretty simple. Am I supposed to just take a guess and hope I get it right?

You better be the first in line to sign up for that education because you were nowhere to be found when they were passing out brains!
