Wow... you are really really triggered and now feel silly. Can't make this up!

Keep being triggered because someone on the internet said something.

Still can't see the Lambo, can you? lol

I'm done... go ahead and "win". You are so silly.

Now go cry in your milk!!!
It’s OK little Jmat, I understand you are humiliated. It will be all better tomorrow; you‘ll see little one.
Get a room, you two.

On a separate note, EV motorcycles are looking pretty wild already. Several are producing so much torque that they’re literally limiting the torque delivery in order to give the traction control any chance of keeping up with it.

My main fear in that department is that it’s dangerous enough when people don’t see you, probably slightly worse when they don’t hear you either.
Now, EV bikes I can get behind. A friend bought an FX Zero several years ago, and the thing is an absolute riot. Light weight, and more torque than a 1200 Sportster. Can you say, wheelies? I steal a ride on it whenever I can, and would love one in my stable of motos to commute to work in the summer.

Correct on the lack of noise though. It was eerie almost.

I am not an EV fan. But, an EV motorcycle (EVcycle?) , that - that makes more sense to me. I would be okay with that.

But, as an avid cyclist, I am 100% against road bikes having electrification

“The much-anticipated ZEV mandate, which is now being consulted on, will require manufacturers to ensure 22 per cent of all new cars sold are electric by the start of next year, with this growing to 80 per cent in 2030.

Carmakers who do not hit their targets, will face fines of £15,000 per car under the target.”
It would be great to see every car manufacturer not sell anything in the UK.

🤡 world.

https://news.yahoo.com/carmakers-ration-petrol-diesel-car-184805187.html

“Car manufacturers will be forced to ration the number of petrol and diesel cars it sells from next year until 2030 when these sales will face an outright ban.

The Government’s Zero Emissions Vehicle mandate (ZEV) will put yearly restrictions on car manufacturers on the proportion of petrol cars they can sell, in a bid to drive up electric vehicle use and hit net zero targets.”

So governments are financially punishing manufacturers to actually hit numbers? Say it ain’t so. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Someone will comment on how this isn’t strong-arm tactic. 😂🤡

If you read the link some actually want more strong arm tactics.
The auto makers should do what Cat did and just stop selling cars there.

Caterpillar stopped selling road going diesel engines some time ago due to draconian emissions regulations.

Oh I know. I think that your idea is the best one yet. Their government should give every European a bike and send them off. That net zero mark will be hit instantly. If it gets too cold to ride your bike in winter for work, wait for your government stipend of lard and flour.😂

I see the OP's mutual flagellation society is still going - definition of an echo chamber.

I wonder if he realises nobody cares what he thinks about EV's and the world is moving on without him or his 'freedoms'

You being a subject of the King I understand why you don't think freedom is important. After all it is the King's road.

Hello; Ground we covered earlier as speculation but did not have written evidence. Now they seem to feel some sort of barrier is past so they no longer have to try to persuade us, but think they just force the agenda.
I get this is not a same thing but in some American cities shoplifting became an unpunished crime. Robbers can walk out with carts or arms full of stolen goods. Employees are forbidden to try to stop them. The police are not allowed to get them. Even if by some happenstance the thieves wind up in custody, they are released. I guess those in favor of this figured it would just go on and on. Not so. Stores are packing up and leaving for one thing.

I see it this way. If somehow the EV + Green champions actually know something hidden from the rest of us and all BEV and all non-fossil fuel electricity works at the needed scale, then they can crow about it.
I say hidden because so far the path is loaded with pitfalls and too many "someday" solutions. I often get the same sort of sense about the EV+Green zeal as back when Kennedy vowed to get to the moon in ten years. Kennedy's space program made the goal. It was exciting. I watched on grainy black and white TV while still in college.
A difference is the ambitious moon program made no actual difference in mine and others day to day lives. This BEV + Green agenda will drastically affect the lives of all.
If it actually can be made to function then at the very least everything will cost very much more. No crystal ball needed for that. We consumers will have to pay for all the new stuff which goes along with the agenda.

If the BEV+ Green plans fall short which is most likely of just fails, then we will have still spent lots of money, but also be without a reliable and functioning power system.

I agree that the things mentioned are strong-arm tactics. I also see the viability of an ICE company just pulling out of some markets. Trying to accommodate the BEV crowd is likely to be a series of moving goal posts.

Boiler manufacturers will be fined thousands of pounds if they fail to install enough heat pumps under new net zero plans.

Ministers are planning to force production quotas
onto large manufacturers as part of efforts to boost uptake of the devices across Britain.

Companies that fail to meet the quotas will face a fine of £5,000 per device. In an example given in consultation papers, a manufacturer with a shortfall of 100 would be expected to pay £500,000.”

“However, Mike Foster, chief executive of trade group Energy and Utilities Alliance, said the quotas were ‘absurd‘ and politicians were ‘out of touch.’

Mr Foster said the ‘Soviet-style‘ quotas could force companies to import heat pumps to meet the targets.”

“Matt Copeland, from fuel charity National Energy Action, warned there was a risk that households could be left without heating if they were unable to afford a heat pump, which currently cost around £10,000.”

“‘They are simply out of touch with the public, they do not understand even basic economics and frankly, they don’t care about the jobs of British workers.’”
