I contend they cannot predict what it will be like next month so how can they predict 100 years from now.
These things called computers. They are really amazing. Replaced wind tunnels as well. Look up computer modeling, scenarios, etc.

Burkey got to you... you had to quote him twice on one of his post... with silly 10 year old posts.

You need a thicker skin...

It reminds me of the idea of EVs having solar panels as the car body. You know, there can be benefits to having a thick skin.

Seems to be at odds with yourself. You moan about the 'rich elite and powerful' but then say you look beyond it. Make your mind up!

I can assure you there are some very nice rich people and some very unpleasant poor people
When people are using their money to try and subvert others yes I have something against them. Simple concept most can grasp but seems to evade you post after post.

Why yes, yes it was kind of silly. And yet you took the time to respond to my silly post. And by the way my posts are not 10 years old; I just posted them yesterday. đŸ€Ł đŸ€Ł đŸ€Ł

It amazes me that people would point out a particularly cold day or snow fall somewhere, but miss multiple 70+ degrees F in February in a place where normal winter should have snow on the ground. It's literally brainless thing to do and you're too good for such idiotic comments K4fxd.
Idiots confuse weather and climate

A concept it seems you struggle with

You just lump all the 'rich and powerful' under one umbrella - just jealousy

All this nonsense started when the weather people on TV starting using the word "normal" for temp and precipitation instead of the actual term of AVG.

Climate and weather are intertwined, you can't have one without the other.

We all know the climate is changing, it has been doing so since this rock was formed. Humans cannot stop this change. Humans will adapt, unless we kill ourselves first.

I said that I was leaving but this one was just too good to leave alone.

Just to be clear, you mean like when big-oil hand massive donations to a politician? Big-oil donated 100 million in 2016, followed by more than 80 million in 2018
I’m sure we could look at the figures year by year, but do we really need to?
Without naming names, one politician took home $25 million for his efforts in 2016. That’s not the donation amount, that’s how much he was left with AFTER his campaign expenses. Quite surely a man who made that much coin in a single year (from ONE of his revenue streams) AND holds a position of political power could be considered one of the elites that you detest so much.

What about when big oil pays scientists to try and poke holes in the whole theory of climate change?

Does your skin crawl when an astrophysicist, paid directly by oil companies, starts trying to unravel the work of geologists, palaeontologists, biologists and environmental chemists (to name a few)?

Did it irk you when Exxon‘s own scientists (semi-accurately) predicted that CO2 would increase global average temp?
How mad did you get when Exxon then spent ENORMOUS amounts of cash trying to make that all go away?

Does all of that make you really, REALLY angry?

I sure hope it does.
It’s quite amazing what “the elites” (damn I hate that phrase) can achieve with enough funding.

If it doesn’t make you mad, and we were to use your definition of a hypocrite, you’d fit the bill.
Fortunately, that’s not how hypocrisy works, so you’re all good by me.

Deluded, sure. Hypocrite, no.

I asked what was the mean avg temp in the Jurassic period. No one bothered to answer.

73F Today it is 59F.

People are freaking out over a possible .2C increase over 100 years.

Some quick google on the Jurassic "climate"

73° Farenheit was the Mean temperature, but there was twice Sea-Level atmospheric pressure, and 30% more oxygen in the air. (imagine how much better our Mustangs would run) Also, there was another layer of vaporized water above the stratosphere, that filtered out the bad solar radiation. (I wonder how much heat this layer of water vapor held? I say more than the increase in Co2) That means, if you were alive back then, and got a cut on your hand, it would heal by tomorrow. (Better health, whats not to like.)That's the same conditions as there are in a hyperbaric chamber. Those are used for faster healing after surgery, and/or after skin grafts.

Eating popcorn.

I think most folks, know whom I’m referring to with that comment, but since it seems hard for you to be able to grasp. I’ll make sure to add a caveat, to my comments, that way you’re able to make heads and tales of it. đŸ‘đŸŒ

Just to be clear, I’m not the one claiming to be smarter than the majority of scientists on this planet. That’s you.
You should try some self-awareness classes.
While you’re at it, you’ll discover that some people don’t need to be smarter than everyone else in order to be smarter than you.

There are PLENTY of people smarter than me, I’m just not yet convinced that you’re one of them. Your responses do nothing to improve that situation.

Im going to keep it short. I won’t be around when this whole EV thing is finalized. I have terminal cancer. I’m nearing the end and I’m good with that(3-5 yrs).
Whats going to happen is when you see what you gave up, “for the greater good” and see how it’s going to affect your children, and their children. You’ll look In the mirror and say “what did we do to our children.” That’s going to be glorious.
I want freedoms for all you all want the freedoms you see fit for all. It’s ok though when that day comes you’ll go in your mental lock box to this day. Today your ego and pride won’t let you and that’s ok but we all have that come to Jesus moment. Everyone does.😉
