Just to be clear, I’m not the one claiming to be smarter than the majority of scientists on this planet. That’s you.
You should try some self-awareness classes.
While you’re at it, you’ll discover that some people don’t need to be smarter than everyone else in order to be smarter than you.

There are PLENTY of people smarter than me, I’m just not yet convinced that you’re one of them. Your responses do nothing to improve that situation.
You just keep proving my point…..it runs way deep. You just can help yourself. Maybe you should consider therapy?

Im going to keep it short. I won’t be around when this whole EV thing is finalized. I have terminal cancer. I’m nearing the end and I’m good with that(3-5 yrs).
Whats going to happen is when you see what you gave up, “for the greater good” and see how it’s going to affect your children, and their children. You’ll look In the mirror and say “what did we do to our children.” That’s going to be glorious.
I want freedoms for all you all want the freedoms you see fit for all. It’s ok though when that day comes you’ll go in your mental lock box to this day. Today your ego and pride won’t let you and that’s ok but we all have that come to Jesus moment. Everyone does.😉
Prayers going out your way Carlos. 🙏 🙏🙏You seem like a good man.

Kids will be good. They live in a different world... they will adapt.

Same when we moved away from the horse and went to the car.... (old) people were saying the same type of things you are.... All your saber-rattling won't mean anything.... at the end.

If people are really concerned about their kids they would not be buying expensive cars with gap insurance. They would be investing every penny.

I want freedoms for all you all want the freedoms you see fit for all. It’s ok though when that day comes you’ll go in your mental lock box to this day. Today your ego and pride won’t let you and that’s ok but we all have that come to Jesus moment. Everyone does.😉
Hmm... okay. You are overthinking it. Freedom has nothing to do with this... it is another buzzword overly used by "certain" people.

No they wern't. No one was forcing them (old people or anyone) to get rid of their horse and or buggy. The gas car was better so they went for the better way of transportation willingly, once the car was affordable. Thank you Mr Ford.

Electric vehicle drivers get candid about charging: 'Logistical nightmare'

"We want fast chargers that take 30 to 40 minutes -- it would not make sense to sit at a Level 2 charger for hours. There isn't a good software tool that helps EV owners plan their trips"

The ugly truth just keeps popping up donut LMAO

I think it took me all of 15 mins tops to fuel my Mustang LMAO

Shooting for 30 to 40 minutes is a goal? :computerrage::puke:

ROTF

Well, I guess these drives can always play cell phone roulette in the meantime..

"Hello, boss, I'll be 2 hrs late my car needs a quick charge"

Will replaced the long-time accepted excuse. "MY dog ate my homework."... that certainly reads like progress donut?

Also, Ford cut production on the truck, one burst into flames sitting in the Ford factory lot........

When was the last time one of our gas guzzlers did that?
UM, oh wait if never has happened .......

Electric vehicle drivers get candid about charging: 'Logistical nightmare' - ABC News (go.com)

I suggest you go back and read the whole article rather than just the click bait headline

Here we go from the SAME ARTICLE a cherry pick the other way:

Hammes, a first-time EV owner, said his experience overall with the Kona Electric has been positive. He installed a 240-volt Level 2 charger in his garage last December and has only praise for the Hyundai Home system.

We have discussed at length how the infrastructure has to keep up with EV sales and that the US is way behind where it needs to be compared to other countries. Some of those other countries have great charging infrastructure and hundreds of thousands of EV's on the road all working fine. Rather than 'LMAO' at your click bait (and your own countries inadequacies) maybe you should be looking into just why the US charging infrastructure is so poor and putting pressure on government to improve it?

Oh and by the way if you want to quote an article, at least put the link in so we can all see the source and full content rather than your cherry picked words!

Seriously!

It takes seconds to find self combusting ICE vehicle reports.

Parked BMWs bursting into flames leave owners with questions - ABC News (go.com)

And again no basis in fact for your assertions:

Are electric car fires really that common? | The Car Expert

EVs have extremely low chance of catching fire – but hybrids much more risky (thedriven.io)

Again read this: Ford F-150 Lightning had separate battery issue before fire (cnbc.com) including; To be clear, fire concerns are not exclusive to EVs, they’ve historically been problems for the auto industry and continue to occur. Stellantis’ Ram Trucks this week announced a recall of 340,000 large diesel pickup trucks to replace an electrical connector after reports of six fires.

Maybe this is the real reason from the same article:

For Ford, the F-150 Lightning problems are part of ongoing quality and operational issues, as outlined by CEO Jim Farley to investors days before the fire occurred in a Ford holding yard.

“We have deeply entrenched issues in our industrial system that have proven tough to root out,” he said Feb. 2 during a fourth-quarter earnings call. “Candidly, the strength of our products and revenue has masked this dysfunctionality for a long time. It’s not an excuse, but it’s our reality. And we’re dealing with it urgently.”

Blah Blah blah, cherry-picking the comment followed with a bunch bullshit.

Has nothing to do with the incredibly idiotic & ridiculous simple act of replacing the energy used to run the vehicle.

**Only a moron would not recognize that fact.**
> to restate the obvious!
15 min to refuel
hours to recharge a battery

I guess we know who you are!

LMAO

The 'bunch of bullshit' that makes your comment look a bit silly. Seems you don't like being called out!

There is only one moron here - it ain't me. But hey - you keep living in your little cocoon of confirmation bias.

The Tesla Supercharger is the fastest charging option when you're away from home, allowing you to charge your car up to 200 miles in 15 minutes. Designed to get you charged and back on the road as quickly as possible, we own and operate over 40,000 global Superchargers that are accessible on a 24/7 basis, located on major routes near convenient amenities.

Obviously none of those superchargers are anywhere near you - I should complain to get more installed
