Yes it is but to get a lighter and cheaper wheel that I like it is something I am considering.
Just get the wheels that fit without having to impact structural integrity of the caliper. There isn't a whole lot of options but Apex has good selection and often a sale around Black Friday.

I've considered removing material from the top of the brake to fit 18s, with the elders there would be approximately 1.66"(42.1mm) poke up front and 1.68"(42.7mm) poke in the rear. From the pp1s

My car already has camber to accommodate the width. It would sit a bit further than flush.

I would like to go with a flush set up or slight poke(14mm) half inch.
You are going to shave the top of the caliper to make a set of wheels fit? Hmmmm........

With a 10.5" wheel, you really should go 275 or larger. That 265 is going to be stretched. I use a 305 on my 10.5's and they are perfect.

Just curious.....what tires are you going to use?

I'll look into into the apex, a bit more pricy and the cheaper ones are out of stack atm
