Have a 2019 GT with the 20" wheels as shown in the pic. They were a $1295 option that states specifically on the window sticker "20 premium painted alum wheel".

Curious as to what they are painted with, the color they technically call it but most importantly the best way to shine them and make them really pop! I've not owned a vehicle in the past that had a paint texture or color in this shade and feel and not sure if I should use an aluminum polish or a carnauba wax or what would be best? Thanks fellas

Beautiful wheels. Get them ceramic coated. You can do just the face or the entire wheel. I did the entire wheel. Not cheap but well worth it. Cleaning is a snap.

Thanks! They were a huge selling point because I don't see many with this color combo and these specific wheels anywhere around me and even when I pull up google images or YouTube vids etc...but I digress.
They have been coated with Jade ceramic when I first bought it a month ago. Going forward what would you recommend? I've been doing tons and tons of research and believe it or not Turtle wax Ice seal and shine seems to be about the most durable sealant on the market even when torture tested with Iron x, purple power and all kinds of other degreasers and the ice seal and shine holds up to multiple rounds. So that's what I'm going to apply to the paint going forward every few weeks or so to keep the underlying ceramic in tip top shape however the one drawback is that the ice seal and shine doesn't really gloss to the same extent as some other top quality protectants so its kind of a trade off. As far as the wheels are concerned I'd probably be better off using the ice seal and shine as it will likely give me the most protection but if I really wanted to make them POP what would be a good recommendation or is the color painted on the aluminum really a shade of color it would be hard to make them really pop like a polished aluminum or chrome wheel? I think they look fantastic as is but just wondering if there might be something I'm overlooking. Always overthinking things I am.

Overthinking is a required trait to belong on this forum. :) Over the years I’ve used many products but stopped when I got my car coated. Now I’m sticking with the products made by my coatings company (in my case Gyeon]. Maybe check with Jade to see what they have. That said on my old 15’ EB I used Chadwick’s. Great stuff that can be used on everything. Funny that we spend all this money for ceramic and then want to spend more to protect it.

The Ice seal and shine works great on wheels. Did my PP1 wheels and instantly had zero brake dust. Couldnt believe it. I would try the Jax wax ceramic wax, since they have a metallic to them. That stuff is insane on metallic paint. Made my tuxedo black ford flex look like bass boat black.

I've been watching tons of the TW Ice seal and shine and that stuff is amazing and as Bikeman stated it's funny how we spend so much on ceramic coatings to keep IT protected.
