Hi All-

I purchased a 2019 GT PP1 about a month ago and have really been enjoying the car. First time mustang owner, and have never really modded any of my cars before. After driving the car for a couple of thousand miles and researching on these forums I think I have identified some of the first things that I want to do. Just wanted to get kind of a sanity check here to make sure I’m on the right path. The car is a daily driver, and while I am still really learning how the car handles in certain situations I don’t want to go crazy on adding power, I also have about 18 months of warranty left and that plays a minor factor. Thus, I have come up with the following as first steps:

1. Exhaust- I have the active exhaust system in my car, it sounds really good but just want a little bit more and a little lower exhaust note. I have been looking at a resonator delete H pipe from Steeda.

2. Lowering Springs- I was looking at the Steeda progressive lowering springs and the bump stops. I was reviewing the Steeda spring guide and it does mention that camber plates are required for these part 555-8139. Is that correct? Also I wanted to add 25mm wheel spacers as well.

3. Steeda ā€˜stop the hop’ kit, this seems to be essential seems like everyone agrees that this is a must have.

I’m hopeful that this will give the car a pretty nice muscle car tone, and stance, and improve the handling and stability of the rear end to make it ā€œpredictableā€. Not sure where I’ll go from there, I think I’ll look to add power but that will be a ways off. Thanks for any input you have.

excellent choice

poor choice on springs IMO. If you drop the car that far you really need to get the roll-corrrection arms and strongly advised to get the bump steer kit as well. Camber plates are very nice to have and if you're gonna go that deep into mods, it's LONG SINCE time to shit-can the horrible Ford PP1 dampers. Ford PP Track or Bilsteins married up to BMR SP083 spring set. It's been done by lots and LOTS of owners.

absolutely. Even better is to get just the alignment dowels and brace but substitute the Whiteline IRS inserts for the Steeda Aluminum version.

For the exhaust Just do:
https://www.lethalperformance.com/l...018-mustang-5-0l-resonator-delete-x-pipe.html

For the Springs I'd say go with:
https://www.lethalperformance.com/bmr-2015-mustang-cradle-bushing-lockout-kit-black-hammertone.html

These are going to improve the motion of the car while retaining ride comfort.

Then for wheel hop start with:
https://www.lethalperformance.com/bmr-suspension-2015-mustang-bread-and-butter-package.html
This will greatly reduce wheel hop, like 80% of it.

If you feel like going all out and want to go ahead with covering the whole rear end just go with:

https://www.lethalperformance.com/bmr-suspension-2015-mustang-bread-and-butter-package.html

This will completely transform the rear end for extreme performance. This will make the ride quality and NVH a tad on the harsh side.

PM me if you want.
