A lot of overkill here.
You can run twin 285's and support 1100whp.. That is more than plenty for your goals. We ran triple 465's as we were unsure of our goals (hit mid 8s @ 157 stock motor) and had a LOT left to go in terms of fueling. If you're concerned about the hat, all of our (DivX) hats are triple for this platform. You plug the port not in use.
The Ice tank is unnecessary for you as well, from what you're describing. Often an ice tank will hurt street driving more than help.. AKA when not icing it (I run one... so did our shop car)..
Those springs are a hard no. I'll get you a set of springs you'd like if you have some time.
What about wheel/tire?
We are Whipple HQ here at Lethal and would love to help out. We have countless customers in the 8s and below running our fuel systems and going off our assistance. Give me a shout and we'll go over everything.
