Gauging blower efficacy

Hey all,

Trying to figure out nGauge, but I'm having an odd amount of difficulties. I'm used to the AccessPort that I used for my Focus ST, but this is similar enough that it shouldn't be hard but regardless. For another thread.

For THIS thread I'm curious what the best ways would be to ensure my Phase 2 blower kit is working efficiently and effectively. I wanted to use the nGauge to check boost pressure but seems that's not something it can do?

Are there other gauges / parameters I could use to track this while driving around? If so, what gauges should I use, and what figures on those gauges should I see if things are working appropriately?

Are you trying to measure and calculate compressor efficiency or simply measure boost?

Just want to track whatever parameters might indicate that blower is functioning atypically or less than optimally.

Really I'd just find a way to monitor boost psi and air inlet temps post blower, as those are the best indicators if the blower is running optimally. Other than that, I don't think you'll ever have to worry about over-spinning the blower past its efficiency range.

You'll need a Boost box to be able to monitor boost with the nGauge. There's no built in parameter.

you can wire almost any map sensor in to the engage Only problem is nobody sells a connector for the analogs on the back of the engage so you have to make one or like previously mentioned buy a boost box

You can buy the analog input connector right from emotion. Im using one for an AFR and boost input from my AEM failsafe gauge.

In that case you can add boost to the ngauge for under $50 if you Can wire up a 3wire map Sensor Or follow instructions
