I installed my sway bars on jack stands it was not hard nor easy. Get ready to deal with a bolt very hard to get tightened all the way under the alternator. With the Hotchkis bars being the Fattest/Beefiest it is a great feeling knowing conquered these bad boys. No need to take off brakes and struts. When it got to wiggling bar through engine bay I did have wife help. :)
Awesome man, thanks for heads up. I'll have wifey help out too. Gotta earn that paycheck :clap2:

I'm not quite sure what mod you have in mind. Are you talking about drilling a hole in OEM Sway bar to make it sort of adjustable and stiffer at the same time and so by doing that you'll avoid cost of replacement to aftermarket?
Yes, that is the mod I am interested in. Can the drilling be done while the swaybar is installed, or would that just be more trouble than it's worth? Meaning be easier to drill the second set of holes with the bar removed from the car?

I'll let you know as soon as I'm done working on the front suspension

Final product. I'm glad I did myself, saved several hundreds of dollars on install and it's done the way I wanted, greased and torqued, no noises or chunks and needs alignment. Side note : I was able to install the new front Sway bar all by myself. Easy job on the jack stands, indeed. Thank you all for input, it saved me tons of money
