If you have a four post, the rolling jacks are awesome. I have two air powered rolling jacks for my four post. All the wheels can easily be lifted. It's the best of both worlds.

I have this type. I don't use it for too much work though mainly to stack cars. This is my 3rd one of this type. Very reasonable and all have been reliable.
IT's a Directlift. I think they are made by Rotary, but not sure.
Man, I've spent a year trying to decide between a GT350 or a C7. Seems like I should follow your example and just get one of each!

Great collection.

I think I have decided to go with the Bendpak HD-9ST. From all the reviews I have read they seem to be a good lift for the money. I like the fact that this model has air locks vs the Dannmar which has hand locks. This sure will solve the problem of having to leave my daily driver car outside in the winter as I can now stack my two Mustangs and leave them in storage during the winter.

You're in Melbourne, FL too? I would love to see your garage in person. Kick ass collection there :headbang:

2-Post lift...

My neighbor installed a 2-post lift in his single car garage. He did a lot of mods on his Camaro. One day I came home from work and all of the neighbors were massed around his open garage door. I walked over to see what the commotion was. His car had slipped off the lift, sideways and ended up on its side between the lift and the wall. He had to disassemble the lift to get the Camaro out of the garage. He never did explain how it happened.

I have a maxjax in my garage. 2100 shipped from costco and runs on 110V. As you can see it lifts all sorts of things well. Max height is around 48"

2 post to work on the car
4 post to store the car.
I went back and forth on whether to get a 2 post or 4 post and finally settled on a 4 post. I got the optional rolling trolley jack that allows you to lift the tires off the rsmps.

I am glad I went this way. There hasn't been a job that I wished I had the 2 post for and I really appreciate not having to get on my knees to set the arms of a two pist.

Your a light use person I'd suspect then.

I pull transmissions, not easy on a 4 post.

Suspension work, much easier on a 2 post.

This is the one I have Atlas® Garage Pro 9,000 4 Post Lift (EXTRA TALL, EXTRA WIDE, EXTRA LONG)

:

It is awesome and well worth the $2800 price tag. My friend bought a Rotary lift for over $5000 and they are exactly the same (actually we both agree my safety release system is better).

Highly recommended!
I have a Greg Smith scissor lift, can't say enough good about it. No reservations recommending the brand. USA made.
