Fuel Pump Sound whirring sound

2019 GT Vert 6 Spd

Has anyone else heard a whirring sound from the back seat area? When stopped at idle, I hear what sounds like a fuel pump spinning. It's no big deal. Just curious. I used to hear that on my 2003 turbocharged Miata right behind my seat since it was a Walbro and it was very close to my head. I do have great hearing according to my ENT. LOL

My 15 does that. I hear it when I put the clutch in and get ready to start the car.

My 15 does that. I hear it when I put the clutch in and get ready to start the car.

I’ve discovered the reason for the sound. It only happens when my heated seat switch is turned on, driver or passenger side. It causes some some kind of air pump to circulate.
