You're retarded but nice assumptions.You're one of the lucky ones then. Anecdotal evidence doesn't override the fact that the fuel pump is designed to be cooled by the fuel in the tank.
Also, another couple of benefits to keeping more fuel in the tank:
1. Hard cornering can't starve the engine. The stock tank isn't baffled, so low fuel levels could potentially leave the pump pulling in air.
2. It's not much, but the extra weight over the rear helps with both traction and weight distribution.
At the end of the day, you do you. Run all-season tires, use 87 octane (letting it run to E), and refuse to drive the car in the rain. I wouldn't do any of these things, but it's your car, not mine.
