I just plan out how much pump gas I'll need to get me within a few miles of where I'm going (dyno/race track/mexico), run it down to under 10 miles dte, pull over and pour in 5 gallons, flash the tune, then drive for a few more miles to let the new fuel get into the car.

Maybe he already has a tune that's been dialed in for race gas and 2 would be enough for a few passes.

Man you look like a tool.

I wouldn't let a ignorant fuckstick like you touch my car in the first place

And to your point about reading:

Did the op ask if it was ok to mix? No he didn't dumbass
:D dude I am in complete control of how you feel.:p

I have 104 unleaded and yea i was just trying to get the most out of the race fuel that I could. I have the whipple tune so no new tuning is necessary, just going to play with the flight control some.
there is only "so much" you will get out of race gas before spark is limited for reasons other than knock/detonation. it doesn't take a ton of race gas to eliminate preignition from the equation. after that, it comes down to MBT, which you will reach very early. hopefully whipple has found MBT with their tune (and known combination) and limits spark from exceeding that number. once you have enough resistance to preignition, more won't help.

going through the trouble to drain your tank won't make a difference. run it low and put all your race gas in, drive to the dyno, and you're ready.
