I am amazed at how little information there is about the specifics of this package..
Not at any of the web sites (Ford Racing or otherwise) are the sway bar diameters defined, shock info, etc.... Any folks here who bought this package can share sway bar sizes?
I noted the price has dropped to around $900.00 + shipping today..
Thanks in advance...!
$900.00...??? Please let us know which place has the FRPP Handling Pack for that much.

Best I can find is ~$1150 with shipping included, so $900 is an absolute steal if true, but...
FRPP has just released a new handling pack, the "street" handling pack, M-FR3A-MA. Best I can tell, this is the Performance Pack shocks/struts/sway bars with their "street" lowering springs for ~$950. In effect it's the performance pack with lowering springs.

M-FR3A-M8 is the handling package that most of us are referring to, which is the next step up from the Performance Pack, and certainly a step above the package I mention above, and seems to be best priced at ~$1150.

Is it possible that the $900 is in reference to the first package? Because if it's for M-FR3A-M8 I'm willing to bet every single one of us that hasn't pulled the trigger yet will do so in a second at that price. Where did you see it priced at $900? They might be about to get crushed with new orders if it's real.

That's the street handling pack, not the track pack. The street handling pack comes with Ford OEM (from the PP) struts, sway bars, toe links and street lowering springs. If you have the PP you already have most of those pieces.

So essentially, those of us wanting the track pack and not the street pack are still looking at ~$1150.

yes. The street pack is for those who don't have PP and want to lower their car. The track pack is still $1150 and the only thing shared with the street pack are the toe links. Not to mentioned that the street pack doesn't come with toe link to knuckle bearings that replace the soft bushings and stop toe deflection while cornering.

With Lethal's Labor Day 10% off sale you can get it for $1170.
Others that have it for a lower price charge $75-100 for shipping, so you end up at roughly the same price, +/-$20 or so.

Bummer. In my excitement, I looked at the *street* package pricing and got it confused with the *Track*.. :-(

Levittown Ford is one of the best online sites for buying FRPP items. They regularly beat American Muscle, CJ's, Don Wood, LMR, Summit, etc. Here's the track pack handing kit (M-FR3A-M8):

http://www.levittownfordsupercenter.com/mobile/ford-racing-mustang-handling-p-3253.html.

I paid the price shown ($1073.50) + $75 for shipping. It comes in three large boxes.

They also occasionally offer free shipping on smaller, non-oversized items.

In the installation instructions for the M-FR3A-M8 kit, FRPP calls for throwing away A LOT of torque to yield fasteners and replacing them with new ones. I called Ford Racing to ask for a complete parts list of all the non-usable hardware. They don't have any such list, but said "that would be a great idea". NO S**T!!! It seems this activity is left to the reader to figure out.

Has anyone done this yet? It would be great to have a list with part numbers and the corresponding part names. :clap2:

Just as a heads up guys ... back when I bought my 08 GT, I was also looking at Ford Racing suspension kits to mimic the Shelby GT. Come to find out, the suspension stuff made for the Shelby GT, for Ford, was manufactured by Eibach. So to save money, I purchased an Eibach Pro System Plus, which was the exact duplicate of the FRPP Kits without the pretty Ford blue paint ... and saved about $100 if I remember.

I presently don't see Eibach marketing a Pro System Plus for the 15-16's, but if I do, I'll be sure to post it.
