Was checking out under the front of my 22 Mach 1 non handling package and noticed there was only 4 screws holding it on? 2 & 2 on the left and right by the front wheels. See the image attached of the front middle point which appears to have clips behind it that would accept screws? So can you guys chime in about how many screws are holding your front splitter on? Just wondering if the dealer did not put all the screws in? Thanks!

HP car here. I have positions and screws/rivets like every few inches, the entire length of the splitter.

I believe mine and your base are identical, yes? I thought it's just the outer lip which differs.

The base attaches to the car, with the HP lip attaching to the base. With the base taking it's own weight and potentially the load of the lip, it has quite a few attachment positions.

I would think, HP or not, the base would attach using the same amount of fasteners?

Thanks for the image however I think that your HP Mach 1 is totally different than mine. My car looks nothing like this at all. Must be a big difference between the HP and non HP cars. You have a 2 tiered front splitter right? Mine is only a single like a regular GT I think.

Yes. 2 tiers.

Top side, the bases appear same between HP and non-HP. Maybe underneath they do differ, but I thought a few had already bought and attached the HP lip to their assemblies using factory points and fasteners.

Awaiting enlightenment from others.

Thanks for the images, however my objective is to find out from anyone who has a non HP 21 or 22 Mach 1 like mine to tell me how many screws are used to attach the front splitter to the car?
