Front License Plate

Any ideas on where the front license plate bracket that Ford will send to the states that require it goes? Have a great under the front splitter mounting bracket for my 2013 and 14. Hoping some crafty person comes up with a viable solution. The bracket for the 2013-14 was made by ( if I remember right ) Trailer Rebuilders. Need some input on choices !

Thought has crossed my mind too. I may do what I did on my 10.. made brackets that attached behind bumper.

Reality is that I will probably drive without it for quite a bit..

Too bad the Po Po here in Texas look for ANYTHING to pull you over for! Don't wanna get pulled over and hassled for anything therefor unfortunately I will be putting the plate on. The plate mount on my profile photo would work well. Keep your eye out for solutions, THX

I was thinking the same thing with that black bar across the bumper, a number plate is going to look horrible if there isn't some creative solution to it.

Look at my profile pic. Could you live with that plate location? Much better than along the black bar bumper if you ask me. I am talking to the people who made this one to see if they would be interested in doing another batch. If there is enough interest then he just might re-tool and build some for the 2020.

Don't know your laws in Illinois but they WILL pull you over in Texas for not having one. Especially at like 2 in the morning! I won't give the cops a REASON to pull me over! It definitely sucks but I am so used to it, it doesn't even bother me anymore.

Illinois requires a front plate.
I have one on my car.
My daily driver (f250) hasn’t had a front plate for like a year but it doesn’t scream race car to cops like a pretty Mustang.

I'm sure some companies will make a front plate bracket that utilizes the tow hook at the very least.

Required in CA but, 20-25% do not comply so, screw it. Mine is coming off. They look like crap.

Yea if I loved in a state that required front plate, I wouldn't put one on this car. I would chance the ticket.

CA is a fine for not displaying front plates, not a fix it ticket. They say people without front plates are avoiding the toll road non fee paying cameras. Funny I've used both plates on all my other cars and twice I've been falsely accused of running tolls by these cameras. wtf?

I live in TX too. Have 5 vehicles; none have ever had a front license plate. Never been pulled over. One car is a ‘99 Mustang Cobra — never had a front plate.
