Is there only one company that makes these plugs for the front bumper. I checked out bumperplugs.com and almost fell over once i saw the price for these items. I cant believe there isnt any more companies offering these.:frusty:

There really isn't.

I got mine from Bumperplugs.com.

I think it was like. $27 shipped??? A small price to pay to get that horrible dumb front plate off that my asshole dealer screwed through the bumper.

Here's pics:

I contacted bumperplugs.com and asked if they had made a batch in Guard Metallic (Ford code HN) yet. They said they had not, but would do a custom order for $149 which would get me three sets of plugs. Anyone with a Guard pony and holes in their bumper want to split the cost with me? Maybe if there is enough interest we can reduce the cost per set further. PM me if you’re interested.

you can get those plugs at Lowes for $1.29 in the specialty hardware draws. I used size 5/16 plugs. Came in black or white.

I picked up some plastic push pins with the size head I liked from auto zone, and the duplicolor touch up paint, then went to town.

cheap and easy!!!

Black push pins work for me. Had them in my top box already.

My dealer gave me some for free, nice small head and tight fit to the bumper, color is black but I have some touch up paint and will paint them in the future.

I would have done that but some nutjob put a second set of holes when they installed the license plate. If I have to replace the front bumper cover, I will get one without holes.

I wonder why they only have option for 4 plugs instead of two for Magnetic.
I have the touch up paint and I am gonna attempt to make my own.
