Unfortunately the dealer installed the front license plate bracket and I am trying to remedy that fairly easily. Checking bumperplugs.com doesn't list Antimatter Blue as an available color - does anyone know of a close color or another easy solution? Maybe another vendor?

I was thinking maybe a gloss black as that is what it looks like most of the time. Thoughts or suggestions?

Get the plugs. Rough them up with sand paper then dab color match paint on it

I bought bumper plugs once for my Fusion, but then it occurred to me that I can make my own. Some panel retainers from the "Help!" section at Auto Zone, some Ford touch-up paint (had it already), a sanding block (had it already), primer, and a can of clear enamel (had it already).

You'll need to level out the hole, as some plastic is usually drawn outward when they screw on the bracket. If you don't do this, your plug won't fit flush.

Get the appropriate size plug with a head that will just adequately cover the hole (not too big), sand the texture off, put on a couple coats primer, a couple coats of touch-up, and follow that with at least 3 coats of clear enamel, and you have bumper plugs. There's a set in the bumper of my convertible right now, and they work great.

Dammit, I guess I can just return the multi-pack I just purchased from the parts store!

Did you contact the company? It could just be a website error.

I sent an inquiry to Bumperplugs.com last week and they responded the following day. No Grabber Lime but 2 others were looking for the same color. They will produce a “custom” color for $179 but with 3 of us buying each got 2 sets of 2 plugs for $75 shipped. Their normal price is $29 a pair if I recall correctly. Check your spam, could possibly be in there.

I was finally able to reach someone and they confirmed. So since there was no one on the wait list, I would be stuck with the big bill.

If anyone on here wants some with this color in the next week or two, let me know, otherwise I will move forward with coating some locally sourced plugs.

Yes, I would definitely get some generic plugs and use another option.
