I just purchased a 2016 GT premium auto 20"wheels. The car is great nut I want to tighten up the rear end and generally get a more compliant ride. It was recommended to get struck tower braces and cradle lockout. I was also considering FP track pack after reading some threads on this forum. Will the lockout kit be needed if I install the track pack? is it compatible? Feedback is welcome and needed.

There is no issue using the two of them together. Your goals in your second sentence are kind of conflicting. Improving the handling of the car will often result in a less compliant ride. That said, you can have a car that rides extremely well and is very controlled, not harsh, but is a bit firmer overall.

Thanks for the feedback. I meant to say that I want a better handling car and am willing to give up a little comfort. I am looking for a setup that will work well on country roads and possibly some hpde events next year.

In that case I would go with the BMR SP763 Performance springs or SP083 Handling springs and the Ford Performance Track Damper kit with either. Both will have very competent handling and good ride. The SP083 Handling springs and those dampers are quite a bit firmer and will ride as such, very close to how a GT350 feels. You feel everything on the road, but it's not in a harsh way and is controlled well. The SP763 are near stock Performance Pack rates and will be more compliant.

How does that setup compare to the track handling pack? I am reading that the track handling pack is designed so that all of the parts work together and it gives a pretty good result. I want to avoid mixing and matching parts that may not work together.

To give you an idea- I ran the Ford Performance Track Springs and Dampers prior to the setup Bmac suggested. I like the handling springs better. It’s more controlled and the feel is more direct. The track handling pack is a great setup but the sway bars are too large IMO, and it doesn’t address the rear subframe slop. That is the weakest part of this car. You can either listen to marketing or research all of the parts yourself and then decide. I think it is better to go in with a plan and then research how to accomplish it.

That doesn't mean that mixed and matched parts can't work together. Only that somebody tested the combination and somebody else signed off on it. Prepackaged kits, particularly those sold through OEM outlets, may have to satisfy corporate standards on various matters.

"May or may not work together" does not necessarily mean the same thing as "mixing and matching parts from different mfrs". Keep in mind that the car only cares that the parts don't try to occupy the same space at the same time and aren't mismatched as far as things like stiffness or damping capability are concerned. It hardly matters who makes a 250 lb/in linear front spring that is estimated to lower the car by, say, one inch; they'd all behave really close to the same.

FWIW, my '08 has FRPP, Koni, BMR, Strano (Hellwig), Steeda, Currie, OEM, and DIY in its suspension. It's very easy to drive at speed on track and doesn't throw out any surprises unless I get a little too greedy with the throttle in the wet.

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like a setup like yours and bmac are similar and will provide a great suspension setup for country roads and track. Is the rear subframe slop you referred to addressed with the lockout kit?

Yes and yes.
