Does anyone have this setup on their 2018, so far all the reviews i've seen are for 15-17 models. The reason I'm asking is I've read few articles stating that the base suspension has been upgraded for 2018 models, and that 2018's come with the 15-17 PP shocks and springs as standard, i'm not sure if that's true. Personally, I noticed that the ride quality is much better compared to the 15-17 models, some of the bounciness isn't there.
Keeping that in mind, will this kit be a improvement over 2018 stock suspension ? I'm hoping it would be because i was mainly looking to lower and i figured going for the whole kit would be a better upgrade since it's affordable. I ordered the kit from levittownfordparts yesterday. But now i'm thinking if the whole kit would be worth it or just lowering spring will be good enough for my usage. I might track the car couple of times next year but other than that it will be used primarily on the streets as semi-daily driver. The roads are terrible where I live so that's another concern I have.
Also regarding the install, i have a few questions
1) Do this kit require camber plates for alignment after the install ?
2) In the instruction manual, FP recommended 2 different specs, which one are you guys using?
Factory Spec Camber Total Toe
Front -1.03 0.00
Rear -1.50 0.23
Ford Performance Spec Camber Total Toe
Front -1.55 0.00
Rear -1.98 0.23
3) Is the fastener kit M-FR3-FASTENA really needed ? Will there be any issues reusing the factory hardware?
4) Are locks need for the front sway bar to prevent lateral movement ? I've seen a couple of posts mentioning sway bar movement after few months
I apologize if some of this stuff has been answered before. Your input will be appreciated. Thanks
