Mine was 4k over sticker back in 2021 - 89k out the door, shipped from Kansas to Texas. Still feel good with my deal especially when I see threads like this 😎

You didn't try very hard then.
Last year I contacted every dealer within 100 miles of my home on every GT500 that was listed on the Ford dealer inventory website and no one offered their GT500 at MSRP. Glad I didn’t buy one over sticker. The market is correcting 😂

A whole 100 mile radius huh... LOL. As previously said by @DopamineQuest, "You didn't try very hard then".

There were plenty listed within that radius. I won’t travel long distances to buy a car. Never have and never will. The dealers insisted on an ADM and I said bye bye 👋👋

I enjoy following the auctions now with the market correcting. I can understand rare limited production cars commanding them but the sheer volume of GT500s produced and the ADMs folks paid and in some cases are still paying is not my cup of tea. But it’s their money and free to spend anyway they wish.

It was a 3 year run. Not many were made over the 3 years.

A token ADM is nothing for a car like this.

Most people had to travel for their MSRP deal. 416 miles in my case. You just weren't serious enough is all.

Sorry, you were never in the market for one of these cars. One of the funny thing about adm’s is gets rid of the tire kickers, shallow pockets, and bad credit individuals. It’s not difficult to negotiate when one’s serious.

many traveled to pay an adm. It doesn't change the fact that there is a reason people pay over sticker.

Absolutely. I too would have paid an ADM had I not found my deal.

The argument was @Bigred911s said he couldn't find an MSRP deal within 100 miles of where he lived. That he wasn't willing to travel outside of 100 miles for such a deal. I found that approach non-realistic and an approach that was destined to fail in +90% of cases. I think @Inthehighdesert pegged him.

I know. I was just reinforcing the position.

not to mention, MSRP price increases, especially from 21 to 22. A 2022MY configured the same as my exact 2021 car was MSRP $6k higher. At least on GT350, ford played this game by making optional equipment standard the following year. There is no real mechanical difference in 20-22 GT500. You are seeing this now with Bronco Raptor. IIRC they are now $6-10K more than when initially released.
