Forthcoming Sync 3 update

Wow, so I guess it is possible without changing hardware. Yes, my car is a 100% U.S. spec GT350 Tech. No Euro mods--not even the lights or exhaust. Only mods are typical oil separator, etc, but all from the U.S. I would love to know how to get Euro maps loaded.

I can ask Richard for you, if he can do it, and would he do it.

Many thanks. Additionally, I am very interested in knowing whether it can be done without a hardware change. Is it simply a matter of programming and/or uploading the maps?

i find software upgrades a nail biting experience. BTW i work for a software company
So those who have upgraded to 3.0 18025 , whats the verdict?,
apart from whats been mentioned here, does it do anything significant?
Is it stable?
Does waze work from an iphone via applink? apparently in the US it does

• Is it stable? Yes but it still appears to have the same irritating 'features' that 2.3 had such as swapping driver/passenger climate zones and SatNav freezing

I'm still hoping for Waze but it doesn't show up on ours yet. I don't know if it's the Waze app or the Sync system stopping it at the moment. I think I read on anoter forum that members of the Waze Beta test could see it on Sync 3, so perhaps it's with them to turn on at the moment. The F6 maps update helps in the mean time.
