Forscan - Halt and Disable Adaptive Learning Transmission Options

I just cleared the adaptive learning transmission tables on my car but noticed there’s options to halt, pause, and stop the use of adaptive transmission. Has any ever tried the halt or disable options? Couldn’t find much online.

This is some useful info, do you have a step by step on how to do this? I’m putting a Suncoast valve body and need to put the new storage code for it but have no clue how to do this

Simply clicking on the wrench on the left hand side in the picture and these were the options that displayed for me. I’m wondering if it varies with specific model years or something

I simply clicked on the wrench on the left hand side in Forscan for this menu. In your particular case I’m not entirely sure, but this thread may help: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/changing-valve-body-startegy-in-forscan.170382/

Version 2.3.55 which appears to be the newest version, looks like it was updated earlier this month: https://forscan.org/download.html

Just took a look at the changes portion at the bottom and looks like these new configurations were added for specific models like mine. Interesting

Given you have option to Halt and Resume adaptive learning, it doesn't appear to be a huge risk to give it a try.
At least its reversible if the results are not ideal.

true, seems to be a new feature which probably explains why I can’t find much about it online. I’ll do some experimenting and see if this simple reset I did makes a difference and then turn it off completely if the reset doesn’t help

2.3.55 appears to be the latest version for windows, came out July 5th. Try installing that one and see if it helps

I've heard they took away the ability to update firmware. Does your version allow firmware flashing?

Also my version allows going back to factory as built over the internet.
